  • thATS AMAZING THE BOAT IS HITTING THOSE WAVES BUT HE HAS THE TRIM SO PERFECT THE BOAT HARDLY EVEN COMES OUT OF THE WATER THATS INSANE HOW POEPLE CAN DRIVE THESE BOTS LIKE THIS!!! (THAT WASNT SARCASM)

  • Yeeeeeaaa Pantera. RIP Dimebag!!

  • Che libidine che salto tanta adrenalina ed un amore grandissimo per i motori della nautica

  • Think of how much strain the body endures on that rough water at those speeds. Guess it's different if you're used to it.

  • "rough water"? you should see old races in Puerto Rico Offshore Racing.

  • Reminds me of Windsurfing famous Robbie Naish on a windsurfer speed jumping in ocean swells.

  • сучарище

  • one driver one throtlle man

  • they throttle back and use rev limiters too

  • If the props come out of the water, the motor needs to be throttled back because there is no resistance for the props. The props will overspeed and the engine will redline, instantly.

  • you dont cut the engines u just throttle back a bit

  • I think it is time for a race team to comment on this. 1st, maulerz5bigal172 better not be talking dollars because an engine alone is twice that amount... for these type of boats. Next, they do back off the throttle but it is not really necisary. It is not good for the boat but it is not going to destroy the boat if you let it happen

  • wow none of you guys know anything about racing, of course they back off the throttle when the come out of the water, thats why there is a throttle guy, sure hitting the rev limiter once is probably not that big of a deal but every 15 secs is, not only is it bad for the motor but its bad for the prop shaft, think about it in the water the prop has a huge load on it then it comes out of the water enabling it to increase rpms if it went back into the water at that rpm all the stress would break it

  • i hate people like you, o yeah you guys dont know anything about racing, o im the best, go suck a cow.

  • never said i'm the best, in fact i have never even been on a boat like one of these, i just know that they do indeed back off the throttle when the come out of the water even if it is just for a sec. you don't know me how can you hate me? at least my comment pertained to the video

  • i thought it was bad for the propeller to come out of the water

  • it is, one of the guys onboard turns off the motors everytime they fly over the surface

  • realy? he actually shuts down the engines when they come out the water? there is no way. they arn't out the water but for mabe a full second at a time. i honestly think that the engines are just built tough enough to withstand coming out of the water like that. i think the engines just ping off the rev limiter a little, and then when they hit the water again, they just go right back. but i don't know for sure. just some common sense thinking..

  • he means the guy backs off the throttle not turns the motor off.

  • lmao you can start out boards out of the water for like 10 seconds with out damage. ive had alot of outboards. if you are in a speed boat and make a wave and become airborne for long enough to blow your engines the engine should be the least of your worries because you are a crazy mofo and you boat is prolly gonna be broken in half lol.

  • Dude, you know nothing about boats! How can you switch off the engines at 5000 RPM and start again within 1 or 2 seconds and put the engine back at about 5000 RPM?! If you can do this, then give me a call ! xD

  • its more than 5000 for theses boats- around 6000 to 6500

  • if you listen carefully you can hear the revs come down every time the boat jumps out of the water. Thats the throttle mans job to pull back on the throttle so you dont over rev or put too much pressure on the tranny when you land, hence why there are two people in the boat. 1 driver, 1 throttle man

  • yes, if you hit still water with the props spinning you will break the drive

  • no u pull the throttles back fast then drop them again

  • yeah sry, i meant the throttles lol :E

  • Every time i watch videos of OSO racing or any other the man is always speaking over the engines!! I mean when you by the vid from your cam. photographer they are good but I bet most people would like to here their boat run

  • that's so coool

  • Is this P4-4?

  • Pantera's are bad ass and that one looks sweet cutting through the chop. Reminiscent of the Magnum 27.

  • looks like the boat has a perfect attitude.

    Great!

  • wouldnt mind doing this ... but i think i will stick to my inshore racing (I race an OSY 400)

  • Notice how little chinewalking it does compared to other makes like Laveycraft. Very well-behaved at WOT even in rough water(which compared to Jersey this wasn't very big water).

  • Jo and Pepe you are the best! Can't wait to see the 41 in Super V!

    catmando/OSO

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • thats awsome
