1. Lear Jets don't use the same windshield as an F35. The F35 uses a classified composite material. Information privy to only those currently working on them (myself included)

2. In the video the pilot was shot with a .338 Lapua, not a .44 Magnum. A .44 Magnum is a handgun round designed by Colt rand fired most typically from a revolver. (Class 1A ballistic plates stop them)

The .338 Lapua (used in the game) travels faster and expands less on impact accounting for greater penetration. I'd say that given the specific round used in combination with the speed of the jet (cruising at 1,000 mph) this shot, however unlikely is entirely plausible. And I would know.
