  • THAT is a musician indeed. Speaking the langiage fluently, the one spoken now as well as the one they spoke a few centuries ago. Amazing

  • Its in Db minor if you want to know :P

  • @MrAJSavage OMG! really? Not quite a Renaissance tonality, but great job, anyway! lol

  • @MrAJSavage It's Bb minor rather.

  • @jordanbbuu I meant that, Got my chords mixed up :/

  • @MrAJSavage ;) It's alright.

  • I want someone who can play like this to get into hiphop with a shit hot rapper (if they still exist) and make awesome.

  • que belo *-*

  • 0:00-0:05 tetris style

  • Oh waaa, the first short piece he plays is so good !

  • @tappman85 Thank you Sheldon! ;)

  • Sir Jacques IV , your mobile phone was ringing.

  • Notice how his left leg marks the cadence points by swinging. Could almost be used to teach students to analyze phrasing.

  • it's really just a straightforward i-iv-V-i progression, can be readily adapted to any style. but he's still extremely skilled.

  • Well, it´s pretty impressive buuuuut... he picks up the tonality of the ringtone and with the basic chords improvises a song (beautiful) but he doesn´t converts the ringtone, just plays something in the same tonality.

  • @tappman85 Wow you're so knowledgeable.

  • @CabLuigi I don´t want to give the impression that I´m trying to undervalue what he has done, I wouldn´t be able to do that, not even in my dreams XD, but with the chord progression is not as difficult as it seems to be (sorry for my poor english, I´m spanish...)

  • Most improv rearrangement of prior experimentation; he's familiar with subject and in his comfort zone.

  • And soon after, the person changed his ringtone to this one...

  • @DaUsher lol

  • jazz in the style of a renaissance galliard.

  • The actual improvisation isnt as hard as many would think. Whats impressive, is the speed at which he did it!

To get what he did, I would have to go at least half the tempo

  • is that a poster of hitler in the background?

  • I can't believe this is improvised...

  • @newFranzFerencLiszt There are many pianists that are absolutely amazing at improvising. I have a friend that plays random things for me every once in a while.

  • @CrypticDayDreams oh, i hope! billions of people on earth, it would be sad if he were the only amazing one :D

  • Mr. Grayson, you have found another subscriber. I salute you!

  • perfict ear!

  • he;s obviously a genius...amazing talent....he can play the piano in his sleep...i imagine many early composers where like this...music was a way of life for some back then..no tv or internet...they must of learnt and knew all there was to know..the rest was down to imagination and composition...this guy is very good and truly understands what music is...his way of interpretation and adoption of any music old or new for a unique theme is very refreshing and memorising...

  • perfect pitch? :)

  • Now I want this for a ringtone.

  • Orgasm in the style of Beethoven with this guy the sky is the limit his fingers are the baton and the piano his orchestra

  • Makes me wanna tear up all my scores~~

  • Dude, you're amazing :)

  • Lmao ok this proves that he has perfect pitch

  • @JohnMeetsFKennedy claro que existen, pero precisamente mi comentario es una manera de expresarlo con palabras

  • sensational !!

  • No existen palabras para describirlo

  • Hey, Richard Grayson should improvise Sesame Street Theme in a 12-tone serialist style. Then he'd get my respect.

  • Un verdadero artista que admirar.

  • He picks a tune up by ear that fast?! And then converts it to a complete other style... amazing.

  • @whataboutredlorry That's called talent, and I do not possess it :(

  • @whataboutredlorry If you are a musician by trade, you eventually learn to hear exactly which note you hear, down to half-notes and stuff - it's like learning a language like Chinese, where slight variations make different words. When you start, you will have difficulty hearing any difference. But with practice you will start to hear it. Transferring it to your instrument of choice is not difficult after that. You are used to it - it's like typing blind on your keyboard.

  • @whataboutredlorry So that's a musician!

  • @whataboutredlorry real musicians do pick a tunes that fast :)

  • @whataboutredlorry thats serious skill isnt it :)

  • dope

  • Wonderful improvisation. I love old music and it sounds absolutely authentic.

  • Amazing improvisation.

  • Now this ringtone is magnified ;) thx

  • Ce type est un génie.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Amazing! I'm inspired. It's 2:00am and freezing out but I'm going to switch off my laptop, get out of bed and play some piano.

  • This one seems like it'd be easy for him. Then again, even the really far out requests do.

  • Damn. You sir are awesome. =O

  • wow! this is so impresive!

  • DIVINE 8-D

  • hhahahha
