actually that's what's "IN" in the high fashion world... but the clothes only appear like that for fashion shows for that extra dramatic flair, but when those clothes hits the stores, they re-do it in a way that it's wearable, but you can still see the avant-garde version in it. but i think designers do it the other way around. Wearable versions first first they exaggerate it for fashion show... hope that answers your questions...
