  • Very good explanation and perf! But I play it in G...ha ha ha. ( anyway I will play it in A )

  • Its funny when go to explain the intro i end up drifting off just staring at your guitar its absolutely beautiful. one of my all time dream guitars.

  • Great! Man can you explain what chords you use and how to play the rhythm? My English is bad and do not understand what you said, sorry and thanks!

  • Very good, man. Great sounding guitar--is that a D-41, or what?

  • beautiful guitar man. What guitar is this?

  • Thanks a lot! Great tutorial

  • You use one finger to do the Em don't you?

    Damn!

    LOL

  • @AnaLimaLuiza There's no Em in this song, actually. There's an Emaj, though.

  • @privettricker I'm sorry. I did put the "m" to emphasize it was major but forgot the "aj".

One day I'll do it correctly.

    I very, very sorry Sir.

  • @privettricker which three notes are you picking between the F#m and D ? thanks bud !

  • @privettricker I think he mean that you use one finger to do the A, like you do at 0:46-0:50.

  • Could you do a video with the solo of the beginning? Slowly if possible.

Many people are searching for it.

    Thank you.

  • @AnaLimaLuiza The solo of the beginning?

  • @privettricker Yes. I'm a beginner and thou it is easy... for me no. This is the second song I play.

In four years I'll be next to you.

    :)

  • @AnaLimaLuiza Did you watch the video all the way to the end?

  • @privettricker 02:12 :)

    Thank you.

  • Great stuff. Not one I'd thought of covering befpre.

  • Sorry I disliked it on accident this is a great cover

  • Great job...thanks for sharing your talent!

  • SWEET!

  • esse cara é um monstro ô.o toca lindamente... que medo!

  • @lilithmss "This man rocks and plays beautifully... spooky." - translated from Portuguese

    :)

  • How are you strumming?

  • very nice playing...isn't this song slightly off tune? anyhow...nice job

  • i was so sure you were singing.....

  • Thx but can u show me how to play the walk ups and the solo thx awesome

  • cool guitar!

  • Jesus Christ.

  • I thought you were signing for a second, and I was like "FUCK HE SOUNDS LIKE PAUL" ahahah

  • Someday I WILL learn this song! One of my favorites. I am getting my first guitar for christmas and I can't wait to start learning to play.

  • GREAT tutorial...many thanks for posting...

  • FINALY very helpful!!!

  • not to mention this is a pretty damn good tutorial. one of the best i've seen, you explain it all and show it very well

  • my lord i want to play like you

  • Very Good,,, I've noticed on your vids that you've perfected the strums, plucks, picks, hammers etc. etc. to each song... Studio Musicianship, well done.

  • Love your videos. Any suggestions on buying a beginners guitar? Thanks.

  • @Pumbale1 My only advice is spend what's appropriate for your skill level. The quality (cost) of your guitars should progress along with your playing. I played a lot of so-so guitars before I ended up with high-end ones. And even now, I still own some cheap imports!

  • This makes me want to see your face :D

  • what type of strings are those and what type of guitar is that i love the frets

  • @wxajt Looks like a Martin D-45

  • @mstrammd It's a D41, virtually identical.

  • @privettricker I didn't look carefully. The 45 has abalone inlay where the fretboard meets top and I believe on the side binding and back. Nevertheless, you have a gorgeous looking and sounding Martin.

  • Excellent! Congratulations.

  • good, very good =) thanks now i can play this song =)!!

  • Dude you are awesome you should do a complete tutorial on this song oh and by the way what are the chords to this song?

  • wow you even sound like paul... awesome job! i hope you're not 'ammateur' coz that would make me...... completely incapable! haha :)

  • Just started watching the Anthology Series on DVD for the first time, so this is just the ticket for the early Beatles mood I"m in. So much fun, I don't wanna leave!

I'm starting to spend more time with you than my wife... ;-)

  • i'm another fan from australia, learnt your john denver tune and i'll go right through your catalogue you have talent and a great variety, thanks ,pat

  • I'm going through all of your stuff right now to make sure I've got it all downloaded. I'm afraid that YouTube is going to give you the Galileo or Voltaire treatment! More like the Spanish Inquisition, right? Thanks---this one was good PT!

  • What notes do you hit on the bass runs?

  • @MegaWowers Open A string to G# to F# (both on the bottom E string), then F# to E on the D string, ending up on an open D string/D chord. Then the second half starts with open D string to C# to B on the A string, then open A string to G# and ending on the open A string.

  • IMO, there is no way either George or John played the main guitar parts on this song. This has got to be Paul all the way. But whomever it was, it was a great kick off song for what is my favorite of all Beatle albums. It is also one that I should have had in the cannon a long time ago - it ain't that difficult. Your videos though provide me with the inspiration to finally get a song like this down. Keep up the good strumming!

  • Great lesson. Beautiful song.

  • Thanks for your fine guitar videos. Excellent!. Also, thank you for your tutorials. We amateur guitar players appreciate it!

  • @tmo7734 I'm an amateur just like you!

  • Love it man, one of my favourite Beatles tunes. Thanks for the lesson.
