  • Protein is filling. That's why I eat meat. If I don't, I will snack all day because I never feel full. The danger with nuts and seed is that they are high in fat, but it is possible to find very lean fish/meat.

  • @19ClairCognizance87 No, I actually had an allergic reaction and threw up horrendeosly both times I used flax in a smoothie, might try sprouting them lol

  • @bluesdog88 You might have a flax allergy, I have a really bad flax allergy to the point I have carry and eppi pen, spouting them made it worse...

  • Dear Natasha. I have been seeing a lot of information lately about something called the Warrior diet. A youtuber (RawWithRosalie) who is doing this Warrior diet as a rawist. Only eating one large meal versus the 6-8 small meals a day. What do you think of this? I feel like this can't possibly be healthy? I would love to hear your thoughts.

    Thanks

  • You look considerably healthier since last I saw you. =] Not sure why. You definitely look great!

Thanks for the smoothie recipe. =D

  • Should you soak the dates if you choose to substitute them for figs???

  • I tried it with a bit of soy milk and two tablespoons of powdered almonds. Delicious !

  • wow,you look good with your hair lighter like that, havent watched one of your videos in 2 months,i noticed a big diff

  • Hey I was just wondering, what raw recipe book do you recommend? Do you have a favorite? Let me know please, thanks!

  • I'm an old fart and they call us that because we have to eat a lot of fibre and that makes us fart. I get my fibre from ground flax seed, oatmeal and fruit and vegetables and high fibre bread, about 40 grams per day or more. The insoluble type seems to work best for me, to keep it moving but without the runny dumpers. I believe teenagers could get by eating tin cans but that sure changes with age. Here's a new acronym : YAFU(Yet Another Fuck Up). There is a call, like a Ninja, YAAAAAAFUUUUUU.:)

  • Woo, new camera??? Much better quality than the other videos I've seen of yours. Nice, Natasha!

  • Great idea. I've had a container of flax seeds in my frig for a week and couldn't figure out what to do with it, I used to put it on yogurt when I was eating that. Thanks for the idea Nikki

  • I use Chia seeds in my smoothies too. It really makes it more filling, Also, don't fear the banana. I sometimes use 2 bananas in my smoothie which makes a big difference as well.

  • Natasha, serious problem, I think I'm addicted to your big smile ;)

  • I'm finding bananas fill me up due to high carbs (in my opinion, good carbs?), in smoothies. Was researching fruits with high carbs to transition from carbs, compared an bananas seem to do the trick. Hope this helps someone~!

  • I love to use flax seed in my smoothies! Part of my high raw diet I have been on is to try to help lower my bad cholesterol and I heard that flax seed has cholesterol lowering properties- Natasha, is this your opinion on flax seed as well? Could you share some other ways flax seed can be used? Thank you for all your great videos, I have learned so much from you!

  • u have great skin!!! ... well i guess that's one of the wonderful benefits of the raw food diet!

i love how you always look so awake & alert, also you're positive energy rubs off on me & makes me feel warmer & happier. so i thank you for that & also for educating me more. :-)

    Cathy xx

  • did I ever mention that I love this girl???

  • i wonder what is best? soaked flax seeds (for 8+hrs) or the cracked/powdered flax seeds we can buy in the store?

  • WOW the lighting is so much better XD

  • I add Chia seeds to my smoothies as well,,,and love love love the texture

  • I grind my flax seeds before I add them to my smoothie. Yes, very filling. I haven't tried it will figs yet, I'm sure it's very good! I add coconut to mine and cacao. ; P

  • What do you use to moisturize your skin? oils? organic and paraben free lotions? I would love to know. :)

  • I know you may not know this, but flax needs to be cooked. I would love to send you the article I found. But this was not the only one I found it on. I did get a from other reliable sources. That flax must be cooked. Let me know if you wanted. Just trying to be helpful, because I also am into health.

  • @Joni48 why would they need to be cooked?

  • @Joni48 Soaked/Germinated maybe but not cooked. You would prob. damage the EFA's by cooking the flax. Watch a video on YouTube called The Story of Flax and research the health properties of Chia seeds. I use both Chia and Flax in every Green Smoothie and like to include (if on hand) Goji, Cinnamon, Cayenne, Coconut pulp and water, hemp seeds, bee pollen, avocado, banana, 1 other fruit, greens including wheatgrass and sprouts.

  • wow your hair has really lighten up. So when are you coming back to Canada?

  • HOTTNESS
