  • I loved the toony Bee too...

Great techniques used in this series of videos specially I loved the use of masking to show the buldges and also how u didn't went behind finer details in the start and kept them for later after u posed the character....

  • its a great piece, I think it needed a little more work on the hands, to follow the volume of details that the piece has

  • whats the name of the cool song?

oh and great work 5 stars

  • haha looks like jaba da hut

  • I totally dig how Zbrush lets you easily move around your object and paint on it without having to have 4 screens open like other programs I've used!

  • Awesome video. I was wondering bout low poly characters. As far as i know game companies wants the character to be 1000 .. 2000 polies.

Will there be uploaded a video for this kind of problem?

  • In case you want to use a modell created in zbrush with a couple of million polys in realtime or for animation you create a normal map or displacement map wich will display the details on a lower version of your mesh.

  • I can't say for certain for all game company's, but I know Naughty Dog used about 20,000 Polys for the main Characters like Drake in Drake's Fortune, and he looked amazing! I'm pretty sure they used the same model in the cinematic and in game. It would make sense for online games to be 1-2k range though.

  • Wow. Wicked work dude....

  • sssssSWEET!
