fix for updates after itunes 10...

Go to top of itunes >>> edit >>> preferences >>> general >>> import settings >>> [under Import Using:] select MP3 Encoder >>> click OK

Now when you right click there should be an option saying Create MP3 Version.

Now just drag and drop it onto desktop and then move it onto your phone...

PC users, right-click, Get Info, Options, do the changes to start and end, then Convert to ACC if you dont have an option to convert to mp3.

AC/DC opening riffs were made for ringtones!

Thank you for this! A few things were different - like for example, I had to select "create AAC version" instead of "create MP3" or whatever (perhaps it is because I have a newer version of itunes, or a PC) but it worked very nicely. I have a blackberry bold 9700 which I just got yesterday.

I think since his is an older model or something it sais create MP3, or different music file idunno. What i did was right click and Create an ACC Version

To use custom settings with MP3 encoding:

Choose Edit > Preferences, click General, and click Import Settings.

Choose MP3 Encoder from the Import Using pop-up menu.

Umm when i was going to put it on my blackberry i had to create a folder called ringtones. when i opened that then you have to create a folder with the name of the artist, & then i was able to drag the ringtone into the artist folder. that was about it

Ok for everybody wanting to know i figured out how to do it for windows comp. so be patient i feel like a genius or something.. only different it steps to the video is after selectin the portion u want right click and click convert to aac thing and change the next drop box to v.o1 and it should convert.. and appear at the top of your itunes..

you have to go to the main menu, then sound profiles, then scroll down to "advanced", then select the sound profile you want to edit, them go down to sms an dyou can change it from there. I hope that helps.
