If you're that much of a dedicated racer, buy a more purposeful vehicle, or buy a few engine upgrades to compensate for the extra pounds. I rarely use mine, but I definitely love the option.

The 100 millisecond shifting is not true. I does not react that good. On the upshifts its pretty good but not on the downshift. BMW dual-clutch or sport automatic is still better.

@Kaipeternicolas Agree, seems more like a second or two for downshifts. If you repeatly press the downshifts 2 or 3 times in a row it will only shift gear once. So downshift from 5th to 2nd takes a couple of seconds.

BTW this is one of the best sounding V8's I have ever heard, it sounds like Steve McQueen's Mustang from Bullet. there essentially the same thing.. pumps that are pushing more air into the engine then it would normally be able to take in on its own.. the only difference is that a turbo pumps air by the spinning of a turbine wheel charged by exhaust gas.. a supercharger does it by a belt connected to a bunch of different pulleys on the engine face (under the grill). Superchargers are outdated and take longer to deliever power then turbos.. benz has 2 turbos.. thats more then twice as good as a supercharger

You are missing the point. The 63AMG's don't have turbo's or superchargers. They are naturally-aspirated. The 63AMG models are 6.2L V8s. The 65AMG (S,SL,CL) models are twin-turbo 6.0L V12s.

So ? Radio's and televisions use the same technology as 20 years ago, but they are still better and more effiecient now. Same goes for both superchargers and turbochargers. And who cares how big the engine is. The S4 is "just" a supercharged 3.0L. The 2.0L turbo is cheaper than the N/A 3.2 6 cilinder. Pricewise it's mostly marketing. Now google modern superchargers like I said.

since the turbo doesnt rob any power to create it. AND since turbos are smaller, 2 of them can easily fit into an engine, you can even put 4 if the engine is big enough, like the bugatti.. Not to mention the turbos keep the engine more fuel efficient then a supercharger does.. all in all, superchargers deliever more tq, while turbos deliever a little extra tq, and a lot more bottom end hp since it doesnt rob any from the engine.. now STOP talking, you know nothing.. ur getting fuckin owned.

A turbo force feeds the engine by using exhast pressure, a supercharger robs the car of anywhere from 5 to 10% (depending on the supercharger) of power and uses it to create more power.. as where the turbo creates power out of nothing, Idiot. Supercharger gives you power through every gear as where the turbos will give you power in later gears after the turbines are spinning fast enough, hence the phrase, "turbo lag" BUT, the power a turbo can deliever is higher then what a supercharger can

Thank you for proving my point here mate. They are different, not one is better than the other. Superchargers give instant power, where turbo's have to spin up. It all depens on what the manufacturer wants. Some just want more overal power, some want instant power at low RPMs, etc. Different tastes for different folks.

What i said was they both have their ups and downs but superchargers are inferior to turbos because they use older tech and only do 1 thing better then turbos do, turbos do a few things better then superchargers. SC's deliever constant power thru every gear but turbos deliever more overall power, they dont rob the engine of horsepower just so they can work, theyre more fuel efficient and their smaller so you can fit more of them. Like i said, Superchargers are outdated, get over it, your OWNED.

all gearbox's have clutches lol with out it power would not get to the wheels. the clutch is responsible for getting the power from the engine and to the wheels. the difference between a manuel and an auto box is that in a manuel u use ur left foot to operate the clutch
