i just got back from fishing there and i went fishing in the surf and caught nothing but then i went in the harbor and caught a ton of fish i guess it depends on where you are

is a long rod like that important, i just use a 6'6 rod

hey guys in just north of there and im just leaning to surf fish, any tips on time and tide for surf perch would be much apperciated :]

shrimp works great from berkley power bait. early morning is good. try to find a point in the surf where the waves break further out. if one spot is dead, move to another spot. and be prepared to catch a few crabs.
