The thing I always thought was, aside from the non squiteur Lugosi shots and the sudden changes of weather, Plan 9 honestly seemed no different to me than any other s*it film from the fifties, so I don't know why it came in for special press. Its at least as good as Them! Or Attack of the 50 foot woman. In fact it actually has a higher comedy value! I think Ed Wood found backing for this film from the mormons, another example of what the angel of maroni has done for you!

I've seen this movie a few times, and every time it becomes even less funny. It's a 'classic', but it's a classic piece of shite. Unwatchable, more so than most of the garbage you subject us to with these reviews.

Hell, I'd prefer you skewer some really expensive Hollywood bullshit like Transformers, etc...as those productions have no excuse for not putting a decent film together with the kind of cash it takes to make them, while "Plan 9" was made for about $16.50

Great review, as always, but actually, the movie is so blatantly bad, it's a bit of overkill to review it... Have you seen it with the Mike Nelson riff? Totally hilarious (although not as good as with the bots)!!!!!!! This vid makes me want to watch it again! ;) Burton's "Ed Wood" is a great tribute Woods' career, this film in particular, but I'm sure he took his share of liberties!
