@schwinnprotocol ... it was less than a mile from the farm ... a year before that, we had a very small one go through the farm & take down some trees .. no video on that one, though, LOL
I think it's funny that a lot of people are trying to say this is fake, when people died and many were injured and not to mention it was on the news... :\ idiots.
View all 6 videos "1 of 6" through "6 of 6" to see this tornado from beginning to the end, when it went back up in the sky. At the time, I was worried my nearly full flash card would not hold 5 minutes of video, so I filmed in short segments.
i'm not sure if it was in the white oaks area/. it was by the london health science centre hospital. though it didn't touch down.. I didn't think u were upset by it :D I also love tracking tornadoes or storms online and out and about. i took a pic of a funnel cloud forming near saunders this year.. but it didn't touch. thank god...or else my apt would have been gone...along with me. u should check out the site.
not that rare. last year.. london ontario has had 3 funnel clouds that formed but didn't touch ground. I know.i took a pic on wellington, commissioners last year. we did get alot of crazy storms last year as well :D
@iheartsupernatural (im a girl) yo there was one on wellington? because i didnt hear of it and i would of saw it but i didnt, because i live in white oaks thats y im asking because im really intrested in tornadoes and i like to learn about them i know almost everything about tornadoes im in grade 4 so i love twister the movie 1996 and sometimes i do drills in my home so im ready if one comes, but plz dont think that im upsest with it i just like to know about it.
@nataliaiscute .. check out Wikipedia page "List of Canadian tornadoes and tornado outbreaks" for June 22, 2008 to read about this tornado near Bryanston/St Marys
I seen it at around 6:00 and calmed around 6:50 while the rest of london was still in the storm. I live in northeast london. However I was real close to a F-0 tornado which passed by that day... when it calmed and the lighting which was VERY close and SUPER LOUD thunder stopped I was walking back to my house and noticed the street was flooded and there was Hail stones everywhere I live right near the edge of the city
I was chasing earlier in the day on another strong storm , came back to london and saw the tower going up as I whent to a restaurant . When I was inside I had a funny feeling telling me to look outside and voila , the storm looked alot cooler after the tornado though, you have some great video, so lucky to have been that close. hopefully 09 will have more touchdowns, but with less damage
Yes, London, England is the largest & most well know of all the "Londons" in the world...this tornado was just NE of London, Ontario, Canada. Just to name a few other Londons....in the USA alone, there is London, Ohio; London, Texas; London, Arkansas; London, California.
Yes - was in the house & my farm mgr called me & said "look outside your door, there's a tornado going by". I looked out & said "Holy Sh*t" - didn't know whether to hit the bsmt or grab the camera - couIdn't believe what I was seeing - was totally awesome - then, in 2 secs, I had determined that it was moving away, so I grabbed the camera, hopped in the car & got the video. Both A Channel & CTV Newsnet used the clips in their newscast. It was exciting/fascinating to see this natural phenomenon.
That was was a large tornado, glad your ok, was it near your farm?
