Yuan is a Mongolian country, likewise, Qing is a Manchu country. China was just governed by Mongol and Manchu empires. So, Tibet had never been part of China until China invaded Tibet in 1950s.

FACT: Under Chinese law, is illegal for Tibetans to leave their own country. Chinese soldiers are posted along the border with Nepal, and they shoot at Tibetans fleeing Tibet.
FACT: Many of the monks and families who attempt to escape die either of the freezing cold or from the Chinese soldiers' bullets.

Manchu are not chinese. Manchu language is radically different from Chinese, and they used Manchu letters.
Yuan is a Mongolian country, likewise, Qing is a Manchu country. China was just governed by Mongol and Manchu empires. So, Tibet had never been part of China until China invaded Tibet in 1950s.

that's something u don't understand Chinese history and Chinese culture. it's true, the emperors in QING dynasty is Manchu,just as tibetan, it is one of the 56 ethnic group in China.Manchu are not Han, but they are Manchu Chinese!! esp the three emperors: kangxi, yongzhen, and qianlong are well respected by the Chinese! Tibet became part of China since yuan dynasty, however, they had much higher autonomy back then!

If you look over the credits of what empires were actually ruled and when you can actually break this down by ethnic rule and region. Parts of the world were ruled by other powers for many years and now retain their freedom. Funny for the PRC to call those powers bad for what they did and yet turn around and use that same example for themselves. I'd read more about History before trying to tell me to read more books.
