  • Thank you so much for porting this....... beautiful...love it..love it...!!!!

  • A brilliant uplifting piece of music, great combination of vocals to instruments, music composition, creativity at its finest, only's the pity its of such short duration, have to keep hitting the repeat button. This piece (if there is to be such ) is a suitable anthem for the hope, peace, understanding and betterment of humanity. Thanks for posting this good quality recording.

  • Please don't laugh at an old man who can't help but to have them tear running down in fat streams - thanks for posting

  • @laentzsch

    what about laughing with them

  • @daemonboi2

most certainly one of the most important ways isn't it

but on the other it's not enough - is it?

  • @laentzsch good onya mate,same here,gr8 song

  • Absolutely onof the greatest songs ever had been written and sung-pointing straight into my heart

  • Great job along with the accurate lyrics. I keep away from plain lyrics sites. Too many of them are virused so your video took care of both and was done quite well. Thanks! I thought I recalled the lyrics correctly and you helped me verify it.

Ooooooops, I'm showing my age which I don't typically.

  • Wonderful video! Thks

  • excellent song

  • When I hear this I have to ask why is education compulsory what with all the tuition and learning!

  • ironic

  • I always thought it was "health" will go by instead of "hell"?

  • If this is Crosby, Stills & Nash, then I'm Lady Gaga. ; p Sounds like a cover from a man & a woman singing. :- p

  • I dedicate this song to my mom, my dad, my sisters and my brothers wherever they are. R.I.P

  • Every generation needs to learn this epic song. It's my all-time favorite, and that covers a LOT of decades of great music. If I had to "arm myself" with a single song to get me thru life, I would weigh this one in one hand and all the Gospel I know in the other. The choice would be hard.

Thank you for Posting this GREAT, TIMELESS song and your wonderful video. I don't cry anymore, so your attempts were useless (ahem! Sniff).

  • This totally made me cry

  • -Several decades later, this song remains relevant, in its truth!

  • So many people have no idea it is none other than Jerry Garcia on the steel guitar

  • @TXAXEISTA Thanks for the info I love Jerry Garcia

  • @TXAXEISTA

I always heard it was Sneaky Pete...not Garcia...

  • @TXAXEISTA It sounds so much like Jerry Garcia's style and guitar, I wouldn't doubt it at all.

  • @TXAXEISTA This is 1994 remake. Garcia was already deceased. If you want to hear his version of the pedal steel part (much, much better than this) listen to the original version.

  • @TXAXEISTA

I don't really know which version this is, but that is not the original Jerry Garcia pedal steel part. Not Jerry at all. Still, I fine performance, but not orig.

  • pardon my typo... A fine performance.

  • I thought this was the 1994 re-recording?

  • Like this if you are watching this because of the Office episode!

  • Thanks for posting this version of CSNY's classic (in my views) I believe is the best. The only disappointment being is there's a ladies voice in the background with no acknowlegement to who it is, any ideas? Last but by no means least a fantastic video that covers life's journey that we've all been part of at some time or other. Keep up the good work.

  • @tubzeeee The backing vocals were provided by Suzy Bogguss, Alison Krauss and Kathy Mattea. Thanks for the positive comment. Cheers.

  • Thanks for all your comments. God Bless you in your life's journey.

  • @MsMovieThemes You're welcome. Music like this is the perfect companion on that journey. After all the turmoil and anguish of those years, it's a great gift that what is left now is mostly music, music before it was swallowed up by technology. Thanks, again, for your sensitive presentation of this classic, meaningful song.

  • Outstanding! Your video is very nicely done! Thanks! for presenting this beautiful song in such a creative way. ~ Stephen, Class of '66

  • @steveobx1 Thank you. Best regards.

  • Me? Might like this video? Its a Bible of truth. Always adored this song, even as a kid, I adored it, now as a Grandma, it speaks Gospel to you young Mommies and Daddies out there! Your children need this, us elders KNOW we need this. Angel hugs and bunches of love to everyone! FrancineG.

  • so many memories wrapped up in this song
