  • Holy is the Lord and Greatly to be praised! For the Lord Shall descend one day and those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth shall forever be with Him in eternity. The Laws of God are with us now in a brand new convenant(Hebrews 8). The laws have been placed on our mind and have been written on our hearts. Christ requires that if He be lifted up, He'll draw all men. We must continue to do our part by lifting up the name of JESUS in ALL that we do say, sing, etc. etc. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

you are a blessing to many thou i dont understand the lyrics but the spirit is bless.

    thank you sister

  • I speak the Zimbabwean dialect of Zulu (as a second language) and she sings in Xhosa. She seems to say her chance was wasted. She depicts someone who is already in hell burning and she will not have an opportunity again. However the depiction continues with an appeal to those who are on earth, especially warning that they should not be like her. She appeals to preachers to warn about the burning hell in which she is regrettably a victim.

    I did my best

  • @magusdch

    Well done!!!

    Thank you.

  • @magusdch

job well done. could not have done any better...

  • @magusdch Zulu is not a Zim "dialect", it's a South African language. And she's singing in it. She almost never sings in Xhosa, she sings mostly in Zulu and Tswana.

Clearly you're drawing from the images to translate rather than the actual words.

  • @GraceMartini

I apologize if I offended you. I did not imply that Zulu is a Zimbabwean dialect I meant Ndebele is a Zimbabwean version of Zulu. Also I did not use images to translate, I was trying to listen to words and transliterate in words I understood the song to allude to. The request had lingered for quite some time and I stepped in to "help". Thanks for the criticism, I will be more careful next time. Until I read your contribution I truly believed she sang in Xhosa.

  • @magusdch:

Thanks for opening the door or gate of translation. You did a great job, i love your gift BUT stop being guilty; the flesh is deceiving you that you did not translate well. Do not fear to do it another time. Good job well done and god bless you. From Kampala, Uganda(Lover of Zulu, Xhosa or Ndebele). Keep in touch: emthembo@gmail.com

  • @magusdch

Thanks for translating this for us. Im happy that you did...I was wondering what could she possibly singing in the cemetery..now I know. Thanks

  • Sometimes I just can't stop shedding tears while listening to sis rebecca song, she is simply amazing.Although I don't understand the lyrics, but I'm always filled with the presence of God while listening to her songs.Thank you (ShayaFM)for sharing, and God bless you so much Sis rebecca for reaching many souls through your songs.Carlos-Spain.

  • rebecca god bless you

  • Can someone help me out with a full lyrics to this song?

  • God bless you Rabbeca, cant stop crying and praising God for your wonderful songs

  • (Chorus)

Hatshi ukuzenza! (difficult to translate but meaning sthg close to "I have done myself")

It's been long they've been telling me about Jesus,

But I didn't listen today & now I am crying

My chance is gone...my time has been wasted away

Oh but the things of this earth were nice,

I can see them on the other side those that have been saved

...Now I am going to burn...(the rest of th is line is unclear)

  • @ilahkiz lol,its hayi ukuzenza

  • I played with my chances, I didn't heed the preachers

But now I am looking for them to come and preach

here where I am burning but

The chance is gone ,it is all pain now!

But where can I go, who can I cry to?

I wish I could tell those on earth that the way I lived my life

Has led me to this pain; or even you the preachers, tell the world

Not to be like me Who is now burning.

  • exactly! me too-i love this song but i dont know its meaning....wat is the meaning??

  • some of the lyrical content is talking about regret...people wasting time..not listening to the preachers who preach the word of God and judgement. .....In the first verse she says.."I wasted my time..I never listened to the preachers. Now im looking for them. I need them to come pray for me and comfort me. There is not enough time. All I feel is pain..Why am I even crying though, when I am the one who sinned."

  • Could anybody explain the lyrics for me. I have been listening to this song since my days in Ghana and never new the meaning. I felt was an anointing in the song.

  • ok this song is talking about a woman regretting her decisions in life. She says its been a long time people telling me about Jesus - I never listened to the preachers. But now I am looking for them right here where I am burning(in hell) - but they are no where to be found - my chance is over. Let me tell you the lyrics of the chorus

Oh Hayi ukuzenza, oh hayi ukuzenza!(no more space

  • Thanks, We have been discussing this song @ Church even though we did not understand it, we all agreed that there was passion in her voice and we could tell she was wailing. I lead a small choir in my church and you have no idea how you have been a blessing with your explaining of the song. Rebecca is anointed

  • u are welcome - if u want give me ur email address and i will actually give u the words of the song - maybe your choir could sing it for eraster - its a really great song to remind us that we have to live everyday diligently as wenever know when we will die - and at that point its too late!!

  • if we could all listen to the message in this song and utilise the chance while we stiil have it. Because where we are going under ground, there is absolutely no hope anymore.

Lets all pray to Gods grace to grant us SALVATION.

  • wonderful voice
