I always postponed making this.

I don't have any problems with the tempo but to be honest I never thought that DKC3 songs were possible to do with the original soundfont. The OST has some really great effects such as the wind and the string drone which can't be replicated with the Original Soundset at all. That makes this composition too empty in my opinion.

The echoes were really great, but the composition has a lack in the OST's overall feeling...

you chose to take a challenge and used the original soundfont. you got great echoes out of it and your instrument choice is very good as well.

I never said you replicated the song bad, I simply stated my opinion about the soundfont choice. If I'm not aloud to say what I'm think, I apologize. I didn't know that.

Actually, you said my song sounded empty without the wind, which is criticizing something.

And don't get me wrong, I don't mind critique. But when you criticize for something impossible to replicate, that just ticks me off. And no, I don't wanna hear SHIT about what soundfont I should've chosen, because that doesn't critique the composition, but more what COULD'VE been IF I decided to make it in a different soundfont. Don't critique the soundfont; critique the composition.

I feel like the faster tempo kind of ruins the ambient and urgent feel of the song. If you had gone on the lower end of the tempo gap, it would've kept the same feel as the orginal.

Don't take this the wrong way. The dynamics and instrumentation were amazing. The rushed tempo just ruins the song for me.

When I tried it at a lower tempo, it felt to slow for me.

However, the recording did seem faster than what it was on my MPC, but my shitty computer fucks up the tempo.

Still, I personally don't find it TOO rushed.

Naw it's ok. Don't take it too personally. I still liked it. It...just didn't feel right. It's kind of how I felt with Kace's Desicive Battle and Fried's TTFAF: good, but something just doesn't feel right :/

But yeah, it's just one opinion among hundreds. Don't get upset because one person complained.
