  • yup those are chickens alright

  • Congratz on you website!

  • Thanks for sharing .

  • i hope, the chickens do not dispute who is the boss of them. If they do: As soon as you add the rooster they will stop it.

    Greetings from germany

  • Great chooks.

  • Are you getting the Rooster so you can hatch some eggs? As kokonut said, you don't need roosters to get eggs, hens lay them everyday without ever seeing a male. Lots of folks don't know that, wish one of my neighbors years ago would have known! Rooster used to get on my nerves!

  • Chickens are relaxing to watch. Be sure and handle them a lot so they get used to it.

  • YAYA FINALLY THE CHICKENS new chickens? what about the old ones?

  • I NEEDZ CHICKENZ

  • Cool!

  • Happy that you finally have your chickens. The chickens, and your website looks great. I'll be sure to be there, often.

  • Awesome. they are good in the garden they eat the bugs.

  • yey i want some...

  • Goodluck with your new chickens:)

  • About frigg'n time. Is that a Cock we can hear just at the end of the video. You might be able to borrow it for a while. I have 7 chicks we got from santa lol. they grow really fast.

  • I had 5 isa brown chickens. They lay so many eggs.

  • Congratulations I remember you have wanted them. My chickens just started laying, they have turned into really amazing pets.

  • thanks for the response everyone. i will get some i think

  • Hi Christian, are your birds a heritage (non-hybrid) breed? Good deal; cheers.

  • awesome you finally for the chickens! =] Good to see you again.

  • cool. my brother pastures his chickens. the kids move them over every two wks or so.

  • awsome you got chickens!!! I want some eventually too ;) best of chance with them!

  • ★★★★★

  • hey. are they noisy? how would they go in a suburban backyard?

  • Check your local laws. Some communities consider chickens livestock and they are not allowed, also some covenant neighborhoods don't allow them.

  • Sometimes chickens can be kept as "pets". As far as noise sometimes they bock bock a lot. Your neighbors dog sometimes bark bark a lot as well. Fight the power and chickens will prevail!!!! Yummy fresh eggs too!

  • Yeah, the eggs are good but I prefer the adults all fried up.

  • The roosters are noisy and you dont have to have one to have eggs every morning..they are only for breeding purposes.

  • I have 1 set of neighbors w/ german shepherds that are very noisy -probably violate the city barking code every day. and I have another set of neighbors with 4 chickens (all hens) and they just do soft clucking - most of the time I forget that they're there. i'd take neighbors with chickens over dogs any day. (and i have a couple dogs myself, just not as noisy as the neighbors)...

  • Well its about time mate! Good work!

  • yeh, me too!

  • Hooray! chickens! Good luck with the new adventure.

  • Glad to see you finally have some chickens! And that your website is up, Looks Great!

  • thanks!!!

  • I just got to see some hens myself today. My grandmother surprised me by having some when I visited this morning. They were really big and friendly and curious. I love them.

  • awesome!
