Bison in Japan) because they feared a lawsuit from Mike Tyson. Which would've given Boxer the name "Vega," but then Capcom decided that the name "Vega" fit Claw better than Boxer, so Boxer became Balrog and the Japanese Balrog (Claw) became Vega.
