Billings MT storm 7/7/07 continued

i remember once when hail was in billings it lasted like 5 minutes and it was nickel size, almost dented our car. and that wasnt too bad a storm either compared to the one in the summer. i couldnt even see out the window

I went camping at a family reunion in Livingston this day, but after that we went to Red Lodge and had to walk 7 miles up Beartooth Pass to get our broken down car. I'm pretty sure we got into Red Lodge on this night, though.

Not bad for Billings or MT in general. Hail is the usual severe element in MT storms.

Actually we don't get too much hail in MT. If we do, it usually lasts 10sec. to 2min.
