Over the weekend I had become borderline dehydrated and I had started a new NO with higher Creatine and I had gone from one scoop pre work out to two. It just occurred to me today that my doctor had asked me about my joints due to high Uric Acid levels.. I believe the higher doses of Creatine put me over the limit.. Not to mention I have had..

  • @1940Katyn some intense pains in my feet this past week which I have never in my life experienced. I also take a gram of Niacin a day. Bottom line. If you have high Uric Acid levels be careful. Drink plenty of Water and as this guys says don't stack it.. It's not necessary. And if you take a lot of niacin you may want to cut back if joint pain comes. You can also eat a lot of Water Melon which might help lower your acid levels. Main thing drink the fluids and stay out of the Sauna!

  • I keep hearing people say that "anything muscletech is bad". Can someone explain why? I've gotten great gains using muscletech products. Specifically, I used to (still do) use the creatine 6000 es and the acetabolan (looks like that was discontinued (not sure why. BALCO dudes?). Anyway, I also took a weight gainer and landed up putting on well over 50 lbs of muscle in a seven month period of time. I just decided to do more research to see if something's better out there.

  • Pleose DO NOT buy this shit.I was stupid enough myself to buy this and was using it for some time and I started feeling kidney pain even though I was drinking gallons of water.As soon as I stopped taking it the kidney pain went away and it was probably due to increased blood pressure because of too much sugar (75 grams of sugar per serving is a way fucking too much of sugar).Though it does help to get stronger but so as the other cheaper sources of creatine without any side effects.

  • @jeezy12211 I agree with you except for that you DO take it BEFORE your workout so you have it during your workout. During the workout you will dehydrate only if you don't drink enought water. It recovers the muscle quickly DURING the workout so that you can do more reps and weight and more of that = more muscle gain.

Pushing water into your muscles has absolutely nothing to do with recovery and has everything to with generating more ATP within the muscle. More ATP increases your ability to squeeze out that one last rep when you are virtually at failure. This is what leads to increased muscle gains. Recovery time when on creatine should actually be much longer than when not on creatine since you are doing much more damage to the muscle.

  • i dont know why this guy is saying to take it before the workout, but do NOT take it before. Ive cycled on and off cell tech for a while now and have a few buddies that have taken it too, and we all have made the mistake of taking it before a workout. BAD IDEA, it bloats you and just doesnt sit well in your stomach. It says right on the bottle to take it after a work out. Also i personally do load for the first 5 days, and have seen best results from that. But best not to stay on it for long

  • Just buy a simple micronised creatine monohydrate (preferably be pharmaceutical grade) and a bag of a waxy maize or if you can't find it get dextrose. Will work out much cheaper and be better for you. Dymatize make both those products at a not so bad price for example

  • Just buy a good creatine monohydrate and dextrose. You can mix the two in water to your needs. Creatine can be used for any duration of training. You must drink the mixture quickly due to creatine becoming unstable and converting to creatinine, The basis mixture is 5 grams of creatine and 30 to 70 grams of dextroser before your workout. As an extra benefit add 5 grams of branch chain amino acids.

  • @sjl36 that's a lot of creatine...you wanna take about 10 grams a day...5 before you work out and 5 after...days you dont workout take 5 in the morning and 5 at night...xplode wouldnt hurt you too much much added on to one of them...but creakic and cellmass together would be too much...if you take that much creatine it would probably be bad for your kidneys...and your body can only use so much of it anyways...the rest is excreted or stays outside of the muscle cell...hence the creatine bloat

  • all you need is pure micronized creatine with no added ingredients. If you take creatine supplements with many creatine products mixed together you are not getting the full benefit of any of the creatines. So get the pure German Micronized creatine monohydrate it is usually cheap and always the most effective.

  • @SAMDINGO12 hey asshole. ur bench can't go up that much in 2 days from fing creatine. number one you can't even saturate your system with creatine in 2 days unless maybe you pour 500 grams creatine and 1000 grams of dextrose into a gallon or two and drink. secondly creatine WILL NOT immediately increase your max weights. if your bench increased that much you must have been very under recovered the first day and not trying. no one can gain that much on their bench in 2 days, even on anadrol lol

  • @nickessss creatine basically gives your muscles more resistance so you can do more repetitions and the protein repair your muscle tissue and so it becomes bigger, more repetitions = more muscle tissue damage.

  • Great advice, Cell tech has a lot of sugar. The first day I drank pretty dam fast the 2 scoops like it says on the instructions and I got dizzy. I cut it out to one scoop and no dizziness since. My advice is if you are just starting and don't know anything about it take it easy. One scoop a day before the exercise is enough otherwise you will waste your money since your body doesn't assimilate all the creatine and you will end up damaging your liver.
