Bermuda is my home away from home. I was called a Bermuda onion lovingly nick name. My mother and I were close friends with Hubert Sr his son George Smith and hus brother Frankie Smith. We were also close with the Talbot brothers. Many wonderful memories of these great men! My grand mother in Sweden has every single album of the talbot brothers Hebert smith and gene and pinky! I miss them all. Last I was in BDA was 28 years ago! My tears fall missing it so!

:54 has a Celebrity ship... Probably the Horizan or the Zenith... That's how my family got to Bermuda every year. Beautiful memories on both the ships and especially the island. I can't wait until I can take my kids there one day.

loved this song by the bermuda strollers. not sure which version i liked better. hubert smith jrs, son of hubert smith who had a very unique voice, or ted mings.

i can not believe i found this song but when i heard it i heard it song by someone else does anyone know who else recorded this song..this song reminds me of my first trip there on springbreak and i fell in love with this song.. we sang it on the way home as the plane was taking off going back home to boston.. if anyone can help i would appreciate it.. ty

thanks for posting this!!! Bermuda will always have wonderful memories for me over the past twenty years. I'll be back again soon. I remember during a glass bottom boat tour being asked to help sing this song with the band at the restaurant. Wonderful times.

This week I celebrate 30 years of a wonderful marriage which started in Bermuda on August 1st 1979. Wonderful islands, wonderful memories, all started by my beloved late mother, Goldie, who spent 17 special years at Henry VIII in Southampton. This anthem will always hold a special place in my heart. Penny xxxx

I worked in the Princess Hotel in the late 60's and still remember this beautiful song. Very happy memories of a lovely Island. Would love to return one day.
