There never were any glitches. I never played the DC version, but in the GC version camera is perfect. Everything else you said is much too trivial to be taken seriously. You must really suck at the game.

@dod127 In my opinion the Genesis games (minus 3D blast) were the gold standard of the series. They were the best I played. I thought they were miles better than SA and SA2 and Heroes. I haven't played colors and generations so I cannot speak about them.

@mistersaussy Well Sonic Adventure is out on those consoles. I'd say buy a gamecube. £35 preowned. ($50-$65) and get Sonic Adventure Delux (DX). 128-bit sprites. New missions. And if you get all 130 emblems you can unlock Metal Sonic.
@ironicRON Thats the thing which happened with Sonic games. Back in the 90s every new sonic games had more and more creativity, but since Adventure 2 and heroes there has not been much improvement, every new game is the same.

Normally I would just burn copies of old Dreamcast games, seeing how theyre rare. But not this game! I own the real copy, a working Dreamcast and I still play it to this day. This was an important step in my growth not only as a gamer, but as a Child. Thank you Sonic Adventure, I will love you till I die ♥

But...all the screenshots I've seen of it, everyone's hovering over it on floating platforms. You just cant skip the awsomeness of that stage by floating through it on platforms. That destroys the fun.
The first piece of music in the level always makes me think it could've been used in Nights: Into Dreams. Oh, the more imaginative and exciting days of Sega. I loved them.

No dual wielding is complete bullshit though. Limited weapons brought the grade down on it but its not better than 2.

I actually quite liked this game, I understand why people hate the 3D style, but as I said, I like it. What I don't like is the way SEGA keep altering it to new styles, some of those styles I liked, others, not so much.
The fact that a game released 11 years ago not only plays better... but in many ways looks better than its modern day counterparts. I mean really... controlling Sonic in the daytime levels of Unleashed was frustrating at best. The saddest thing about it though is the fact that people has gotten so used to the shitty Sonic games that Sega has released ever since Sonic Adventure II (possibly Heroes depending on who you ask) that they actually consider those stages good.
sega should really consider it's fans and make sonic games that would actually contest with sonic adventure, cuz so far i think there is no such sonic game that can actually replace SA1 ever.
This game was so awesome and entertaining, that no one even bothered to question why there were pieces of land and metal structures floating in the air. No one gave a damn because it was so fun.

But, at least it did make an Appearance as SA2 First Level makes you go through it in Sonic Generations.

@Drumtariano True Dat.... I agree with you whole heartedly. the only reason its a prequel was to noobify the game. Halo 2 was the best. you had to have skillz to play that one. Halo 3 was a disaster waiting to happen. ODST was a throwback. Reach was a step in the right direction but the rifles are one in the same lol!! i miss my 3 shot Br and my one shot Carbine rifle. No dual wielding is complete bullshit though. Limited weapons brought the grade down on it but its not better than 2.

I actually quite liked this game, I understand why people hate the 3D style, but as I said, I like it. What I don't like is the way SEGA keep altering it to new styles, some of those styles I liked, others, not so much.

The fact that a game released 11 years ago not only plays better... but in many ways looks better than its modern day counterparts. I mean really... controlling Sonic in the daytime levels of Unleashed was frustrating at best. The saddest thing about it though is the fact that people has gotten so used to the shitty Sonic games that Sega has released ever since Sonic Adventure II (possibly Heroes depending on who you ask) that they actually consider those stages good.
