I have a quick question. I use a ro filter to fill a 55 gallon barrel for hydroponics use. I installed a check valve and a float in my barrell. I still have a lot of discharge water and it never stops running even when the barrel is full. I have been thinking of getting a permeate pump since the water supply is very slow and i have a 100 gal per day filter. Do i need to install a bladder tank? Every instruction i see on line has a bladder tank installed. Thanks.

Can you tell me why my RO made a loud (honking) noise while the lines were pulsing very hard. Now the system constantly drains, even after the tank is full

@Doug5399 Sounds like the auto shut off needs to be replaced and you might have some issues with pressure differential . you might want to regulate the pressure going into the system.

Great, but now how do you install the float switch? Drill the tank or use acrylic to fabricate a bracket to hold the switch?
