Yes, "negative ions" that come from water falls do make people feel better.
Recently moved to OR. We do have rain in the winter. Nothing significant though, and the skies are always light silver. Nice. Only in the winters, which are very mild.
Religion here too... I see it manifests itself in people trying to be kind to others. Nothing wrong with that one.
ha, when i lived in oregon, for about 9 years of my life, i used to go visit this famous waterfall with a big stone bridge, good times, <3 oregon... love my old town, lots of memories
GREAT and AMAZING :):) Thanks for this video and melody :):) here in Georgia, we have many waterfalls like that and lot's of streams or rivers :):) and they are WONDERFUL :):):) that's why I love my country SOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHHH :):)
Georgia is like the Paradise on the Earth :) We have the sun, rain, wind, snow here :):) not too hot, not too cold :):)you will fall in love with Georgia if you like mountains :):):) It's amazing with it's high mountains that are all green in summer and just abnormally beautiful in Autumn with different colours :):) We have many rivers, forests and streams like this one :):) also a lot of waterfalls in the mountains :) lakes and even Black Sea :):):)
oh, do you know Basque people? sure, you know them, they live in Spain, right? :) and do you have any informations from ancient history, that there is an idea, that Georgian and Basque people have the same base and many same things :):)
If one day you visit Georgia, I hope you will meet with REAL Georgians here who will show you our traditions and country well and you will get a BIG pleasure :) wish I could visit Spain one day :):) Thanks to be kind :):):)
Yeah,i´ve heard that about the georgian and basque people, indeed part of my family are basques :).Hope u can visit Spain someday ,it´s also a very diverse country,we have green valleys, snow, beautiful beaches and mountains, sand dunes, waterfalls and good weather.Sure i´d love to know your country one day, especially if all the georgians are as friendly as you, then it should be great!!.Thanx again for your kindness :-)
Oh, thank you very much for such kind and nice words :):)
well, you know? I always say one thing - bad and good people are everywhere, so I try don't to judge the whole country just because of 2-3 bad persons I have met there :)
You´re so right, everyone is different, no matter what country they come from :),u can find bad and good people in any part of the world.
It´s just that i had never met a georgian before and being honest I didn´t know too much about how are the people there nor about their culture coz my country is very far away from Georgia, but u seem to be very warm and extrovert like the people here :),so it was very nice to meet u :)
I love my Georgia, my traditions and religion (Orthodoxy) VERY MUCH and I am NEVER lazy to share all that with my foreigner friends or people who are interested in :) But I always worry a bit if I know any foreigner people are visiting my country, cause I don't know - will they be lucky to meet here REAL Georgians or not :) if they are lucky, oh, then they will see here even MUCH kinder and nicer people than I am :):) but if they are unlucky, then I just can say sorry :(...
And yeah,it´s amazing that people who live in 2 countries so far away from each other can have the same base and share many things.I think that we are all so mixed along history that we could have ancestors in any part of Europe :D.
Btw what language do u speak there? it has a different alphabet right? :).Have a great weekend!!, xoxoxo :))
Yes, we've our own alphabet (33 letters in new Georgian), I like how foreigners speak in Georgian, sure it's never perfect, but still enough lovely :)
Georgian Folk Dance - Mtiuluri (The Mountaineers Dance) ---> find this videos :) there you can watch our fold dances :) hope you'll like :)I also have not known any Spain :),so nice to meet you:)
have a nice evening you too :)thanks for nice wishes :)
I think I can say the same about Spain :) I'm sure, if I am lucky to meet there people like you, then I won't be lost and get a big pleasure to see the beauty of your country :)
Greetings to Spain from Georgia and especially to your family now as they have a part of Basque :) I'm a real "mountain" Georgian by my nature, and I hope my blood comes from very ancient time :):) So, who knows? maybe in a deep history, our forefathers also knew each others??? and were even friends or relatives???:):) it would be GREAT, right? :)
i love this video im in Oregon been here my whole life you cant get this kind of scenery to many places in the states i'd love to go there someday i love water falls and nature like that its very soothing and lovely scenery
Beautiful...'God's Green Earth'...now that Silver Falls, pretty sure I've been there...where you can walk underneath the waterfalls (plural) and stuff?
I live in oregon and yes we have beautiful coastline, valleys, mountains, and yes even desert. I live in the desert region of north eastern oregon I just returned from a trip. We visited the Zoo in Portland camped in Tillamook Bay on the coast where the sand is soft and clean. Then visited the oregon coast aquariums, beautiful. . Then had a very long drive home down the Oregon historic Highway which will show you viewpoints and waterfalls including multnoma falls and laterno falls.
Absolutely beautiful !! Towards the end, around 3minute mark, is Multnomah Falls, I was there not too long ago and it is breathtaking, I could have easily spent all day there. If I lived there, I would go as much as possible.
American is beautiful but they only show the city life on TV. This place is one of those untouched/ non commercialised places. It's native beauty at its best.
i believe in youdarling, america is my dream country since i was a lad, but destiny brought me here in germany, yes i love the country life than to dwell in the city, i am certainly a big fan of nature, its beauty and preservation. thanks and have a great day.
That; water is freezing snowmelt...about 40 degrees. Sure you wanna get in it? There are some places where the current and the hydraulics of the falls are dangerous and you could DROWN. There places are meant to enjoy from shore and savor the sounds, sights and the mist.
Northern California and Oregon is so beautiful. Cuz it's non commercialised and unspoiled. Nearly just as the Indians left it. Let's keep it that way before they build burger stands and buildings everywhere lol
no you can't go swimming in them the water is very cold and monitered well. Doen the highway you will find laterno falls which you could technically get into the water. I have it was freezing! My brother took pictures of me in the falls . by the time I dried off we got to multnoma falls and it started pouring cold rain. It was fabulous. Since I live close by I go often, but I have never seen or heard of anyone swimming in multnoma falls and I wouldn't reccoment it either.
Born and raised in Oregon...there's no place like it. I didn't understand how to appreciate it, until I moved to the mid-west for college. After being away for four years, I can only say, there's nothing like watching the mountains appear as the plane descends into Portland...getting outside and smelling the air, seeing all the mountains and trees. There's only one Oregon.
tell me about it! I;ve lived in Oregon my whole life as well, but have been all over this country (half my family lives in the mid west. We go back there every summer (usually drive), but there is nothing like seeing those mountains, and trees for the first time in a while!
Dang, that's exactly how I would describe it. I have lived in the northwest for years and when we had to move, we appreciated it much more and it was so awesome to visit over last summer. Hahaha. Great discription.
The wife and I are planning a trip to Oregon in March. This will be her first time there, my second. Can't wait to see the waterfalls again, as well as the coast line!!
I was fortunate enough to grow up on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, in Hood River. I will always have a special place in my heart for the natural beauty that I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by.
I am a transplant to Oregon. I was born and spent my first 30 years in Kansas. My wife and I moved here and it was the best thing we ever did together.
So beautiful....we have always thought that since 1991 and visited constant since then...now my wife of 30 years has passed and my kids are grown but the dream is still alive...
This is so beautiful I agree God is the Greatest Architect ever
