It's not necessarily the motors fault for it being hard to control, the reason is probably the weight of the spinning portion of the bot compared to the driving portion of the bot, try adding some weights to the chassis if you have the weight left for it, that's why I use iron spikes on my shell spinners , it makes them easier to control

that's impressive stuff, mine span itself to death! (it kinda kept spinning for a while until it becan to teeter uncontrollably and threw itself over!)
My other bot, Hellacopter, has a problem sort of like that. When the giant blade on the top connects with an enemy bot, it tends to launch my bot into the air and into a horrible deathspiral that results in it landing wheels up and spinning like a top :P
I never could get used to the other views for some reason, dunno why, but I imagine they'd be easier to use now that you mention it.
And yeah, i'm a member of GTM but I only posted a few times. I went through a phase where I got -really- into RA2, then lost interest, and now I sorta play every now and then.
Fake! Nightmare's blade always stopped after one hit. :-)

Why do you hate Battlebots so much? In every one of these videos, you fight (and destroy) a Battlebot. I don't see what's so bad about Battlebots.

nice use of Grog The Vengeful there, you should try a better camera view however makes controlling a lot easier.

the change views use the F2 F3 and F4 keys, F3 and F4 can be pushed multiple times for even more views
