"Zed" is how the Brits say "zee." It's normal in the UK; in North America it's an affectation. I have a friend who works for Kodak and they have no idea who started this Zed thing. Kodak isn't a British company so what the Hell?
The Zi8 doesn't have a "headphone" jack, you meant to say "microphone" jack. Next, you said the Zi8 can take an 8 or 16GB SD card which makes it seem that it won't use a bigger card which it does. The Zi8 can hold a 32GB SD card for over 4 hours or 1080p HD recording. Lastly, the Zii8 is no more complicated to record video than the MinoHD; just turn them on and hit the red button.
but mino hd dosent have image stabelizer it is too shakey advantage with kodak zi8 is it has image stabelizer it gives smooth image i mean without much shake like mino.
great review 5-stars. a lot can be said, just enjoy shooting with either one. they're PC low budger Economy hybrid camcorders great for the daytime outdoor shots 10 years saying that LOL.

ZED i 8,,,, its not a ZED it's a Z.
I see folks call this camera the ZED i 8 and I have no idea why some people insist on saying ZED, where the hell did thye get ZED from.
For the record I like my Zi6 and REALLY LOVE my Zi8, I dont own any ZED's though.
