  • Anyone know what the team name of those kids was? I'm trying to find the full episode of this, but I need the team names.

  • Happy 25th anniversary Double Dare

  • whats amazing is this guy has obsessive compulsive disorder, yesou heard me right, OCD and hosting the ever so sloppy double dare

  • Marc's laugh is just as good as Drew Carey because they both have famous high-pitched laughs.

  • Did they use 4 boat or the same one for a different obstacle?

  • ok here the answer in 1987 double dare was moved temporarily at unitel studios in new york called super sloppy double dare a short lived series on nickeloden air weekend mornings because the blue scoreboard is add it and the home viewers in the large mailbox behind marc's lectern.

  • my friend there is the verison of super sloppy double dare in 1987 air weekends on nickelodeon check out google and search super sloppy double dare 1987

  • If it was called SUPER SLOPPY in 1989 why was is called SUPER SLOPPY in 1987 and why did they travel to NY rather stay in Philly

  • is this from super sloppy double dare 1987

  • @timetravelhyman88 Can't say for sure, but I strongly suspect that this came from their Philadelphia days. (And FWIW, it wasn't called "Super Sloppy" until they went syndicated in 1989.)

  • Every time I watch this, I laugh like Marc did.

  • If I remember from the Inside Slop special they released, during this episode the producers kept having Marc give various behind the scene tours whilst explaining the obstacles...it's likely they used this time to reposition this boat, which is probably the best idea they ever had, second only to actually creating this show

  • @XcZeus3469 Actually, those behind the scenes tours were clips from different episodes.

  • The windup toy stint in the obstacle course was soo hilarious.Marc was soo choked up in laughter to the point that he was about to pass out.I had a moment when I laugh hard I would end up crying. So classic.

  • He has a weird laugh. LOL

  • @Whammy51 He laughs like a mixture between Mr.Belding from Saved by the Bell and The Mad Hatter from Alice and Wonderland.

  • "You all right Marc?" "...Okay." xD

  • Beyond fruckin' funny. Is that the boat in jello??? Bwahha!

  • His voice on the last one is classic!

*really light* We're on the blue plate special!!!

  • LMAO O god this is hilarious!!!!!! God Marc Summers was awesome!

  • This was probably after a dozen tapings or so when he was susceptible to this stuff.

  • Absolutely splendiferous. Marc's laugh is infectious.

  • Did they use the same boat, or was there more than 1?

  • It was the same boat used, over and over again.

  • NICE BOAT

  • lmao; this made me laugh so hardd ohmann; haha

  • omgosh I WANT THAT BOAT!!!

  • the toy boat is so cute

  • I'm wondering whatever happened to that little toy boat.

  • I read somewhere that Marc Summers still has it.

  • haha

that made me laugh so hard like, half way through

    xD

  • It musta been pick on marc day lol i bet harvey was behind that

  • my teacher was on this show when she was in 8th grade

  • Ok.

  • Poor boat guy.

  • haha what an ass

  • If you listen closely at :25. Harvey starts laughing right before Marc.

  • lol

  • ........

  • His laughing is makeing me laugh.

  • He has such an awesome laugh

  • I think it's safe to say that this caused Marc to lose it worse than that September lady did to Dawson on Feud.

  • Are you kidding? I believe Dawson lost it completely than Marc here. Marc manages to go while... how long did it take Dawson to recover? Too long. XP

  • Yeah, Richard Dawson lost it far more than Marc did. Marc was able to recover fairly quickly compared to Dawson. Of course, Dawson's incident wasn't the crew playing tricks on him as with Marc's case, but rather a contestant's oddball answer.

  • But Dawson did not have OCD, Marc did

  • johnissoevil: Oh, dude, whatever. Dawson was a drunk and a flirt, so that's why he took so damn long to recover..........I can't believe Dawson's still alive, he drank so damn much back when.

  • well I'm giving up my job and university to go back to the early 90's any one wanna come too?lol

  • Can I come? :)

  • of course. I wouldn't abandon an 80's baby in the 00's that would be mean.=)

  • Sweet! (does backflip).

  • The boat seemed to be a hilarious moment if I do say so myself. Marc thought it was interesting to see something irregular in the tank & played around with it making himself laugh at the same time. The crew thought it was funny & than put the boat on the other obstacles. It is funny to see it because a boat is difficult to paddle on pizza sauce & slime. Marc's sense is humor seems not so great but when you see it, it's actually pretty entertaining. A 5 star moment I see here is truly memorable.

  • Let's not forget that after this clip ends, the crew also placed it on the suspension bridge (#8), where it was totally nonsensical. The Tank, believeable. The Slime Canal, believeable. The Blue Plate Special, that's a stretch. Then the bridge is just totally off-the-wall, and Marc lost it again.

  • wow, cool guy. here

  • Fuck you Viacom

  • idk if they heard you trent maybe if you yelled louder

  • Yeah, really. Viacom is ASS.

  • I showed this to my sister. She laughed, but she REALLY got hysterical with "The Blue Plate Special." Seriously, I don't think she was expecting THAT! Heck, I don't think anyone was!

  • i have a tape of this and whenever i watch this all i can do is lmao.

  • Marc Summers, IMO, has probably, one of the funniest, most heartfelt laughs of all the hosts you can think of. All the other hosts have heltfelt laughs, too, but Marc's is in a class by itself.

  • I think what got marc going was when he started cracking up, you can hear harvey laughing in the background and I think that is when marc just completely lost it. It was hilarious. You can see the one kid laughing about it on obstacle 6.

  • can you please post the entire run with the parts of the boat?

  • I don't have the episode, just these clips.

  • its only funny because of how he laughs

  • Oh ok, maybe Im thinking of a different obstacle.

  • you know, actually if I remember correctly, I believe obstacle 8 was the pipeline and they did show the boat on an iceberg. That course was won and at the end marc was holding the boat. I am actually in tears laughing that this clip.

  • Actually, #8 was the Suspension Bridge.

  • I remember watching this episode. That was so hilarious. I think right after harvey described obstacles 3 prize, marc did a spit take with the water shown on here. I think those kids got a kick out of it.

  • I have that boat from the show.

  • haha, I remember this! thanks for uploading!

  • when are you going to post the number 8 obstacle of the boat!

  • They never showed the boat, so there isn't much of a point to posting it.

  • Jesus, did he smoke a blunt before the show?

  • I think he smoked three!

  • I noticed something, they had the boat on obstacle number 2, 4, 6 since they kept putting the boat on every other obstacle, it's surprising they didn't do it on #8 as well.

  • They did - but it wasn't shown onscreen. Marc was too busy going bonkers ("And behind curtain #2 we have Carol Merrill!")

  • Marc finally lost it...

  • WOW LOOK AT HIM MOVE!!!

  • go rower go

  • Marc has the most infectious laugh!! LMAO!! XD XD
