oh damn!! this is the same shit!! this dj blakey is using same thing that dj hero creators use! the discs, scrossfades, everythings the same, i mean creators use to mix the songs that players play. their like norm djs too. checkout behind the scenes of dj hero or something like that...
No war game will ever feel like actual war, no hunting game like actual hunting, and no sports game could possibly feel anything like the actual sport. So who's to say instrument games will be anything like real instruments. Besides, having a guitar hero controller with six pressure sensitive triggers and over 20 fret buttons for each trigger would have a really high probability of breaking in some way, so they pretty much have to keep it as simple as possible, voiding realism.
Both songs in the video are in the game. Of course the real dj is better but of course DJ Hero is just a game, which are meant for just pure fun XD It's not like anyone is buying DJ Hero to become a real dj, that's just plain stupid.
Yes real dj'ing is better, I'm a bit annoyed of the haters of this game.. Just like guitar hero when it came out.. it was alway real vs game.. We know who wins..
It's like if a kung fu master got pissed because you pay a kung fu game, we all know the real deal is better. But if your having fun who cares?
why does this lways happen. people dont expect dj hero to teach them hw to dj just as people dont expect guitar hero to teach them guitar there little fun escapes that are cheaper then the actual alternatives for fun party games. 199 for special edition dj hero. at leaast 400 for starter equipment for a dj setup.
if u want some decent turntables or decks its like £600 each thats not including mixer and if u were putting on concert u'd need lighting vinyl records whole lot! like you say these games are just to have some fun.
The game does not exercise your ability to cut the scratch with the crossfader, and those 3 buttons are a strange add on. I thought it'd also be based on beatmixing and actual track mixing, but the way it's designed had little to nothing to do with dj'ing. Only in the sense you sort of hold a record. I scratch with my left and on the record, so what about those people?...
the dj hero table IS reversible, theres a little lock on the bottom of the crossfader part, and yeah this seems kinda basic, but hey remember the original guitar hero? it can only get better from here.
you can switch the thingys around to make it playable for left handers....and for the actual track mixing....well most people wont buy it if you were supposed to mix your own tracks.i certainly wouldn't have bought it if i had to mix my own, cause i have no musical talent whatsoever.
Lmfao the game is fun. It's not Djing but it's the closest most people will ever get and I don't see anything wrong with that. I personally enjoyed the game very much I played it once and I'm buying it tomorrow. But I'm just a noob who doesn't have the time to master the ART of DJing. So.. suck a nut haters. <3
i still remember what people were saying about guitar hero as well.... its nothing like the real thing. correct on both counts its a game and its a simulation of the real thing.
the game DOESN'T give the player any clue as to how difficult the actual vinyl/crossfader movements are! it was a good idea, but a big FAIL for the true turntablists out there
if anyone wants to make fun of the game, they are retarded. as we all know ITS A GAmE! real thing is obviously better. but i mean the game does a great concept and implements it well, it also helps others to have an idea of have a dj turntable work.
it's the best solution for having two records without having two records (that would be a far too large/expensive periph)
Each button (blue/green) represented a record. You hold one to scratch/slide that specific record. It's pretty creative if you ask me, even if it'll be different from the real thing.
If you want the real thing, then DO the real thing, and drop large amounts of cash to do so.

I'm a righty but I prefer it switched. Something about the dominant hand on the crossfader just makes sense to me as a DJ.
