Can you shrink your microcontroller board down to fit into a small chassie again? How about not thowing out the wii remote's blue tooth as well or a LONG usb connection instead of an RS232?Great work but let's keep on going.
Best from what I can tell they are not using a WiiMote. They took the IR camera off the WiiMote then hooked it up to a i2c then to a RS232 micro controller and wrote some code so the controller can talk to the IR camera. From there the Micro controller is doing all of the work.
swheat! It seems like you haven't answered anyone on their questions but here goes- Does the laser need to be "on" continuously for this to work? And yeah- more info would be nice.
I wonder if you could make a laser pointer with two colors, one operated by a switch and the red one by a button. If the IR camera was only sensitive to the red one, you could use the other to aim it, that way you can use it more like a mouse.
That's amazing work ! Is there a chance that you would share your technique of connecting the Ir camera directly without bluetooth ? I would be more please to try it !
Hi, very nice! is it possible to get some more documentation? maybe source code?

Hey SHA, Did you meet with some tragic accident or something? How about it? Camera pinouts? Data stream tips? A little help here?

I would be very interested to learn how to connect my own microcontroller to the camera

kudos! do you happen to have a pinout? or informal spec sheet for talking to the IR camera?

Yeah! Do you know the IR cam specs?
