@NeonStreak 5-10 grand is excessive. lol. i mentioned buying a controller. u can assign any midi keyboard to control progs such as virtual dj or traktor. 80 bucks will get you hands on.

well for more melodic genres like full on trance you better use harmonic mixing to have a better sound. to do this you should mix the songs that's basslines are in the same key or one key different. or you can do the smooth bass mixing trick by simply mixing the bass channels of two songs smoothly not sharply. that makes the bass of the second song comes in a tension like it's speeding up.
