Do you really feel the difference with the Y pipe? Like on a daily driving basis, can you tell? Does it give you better mpg? (even if its just 1 gallon....)
Yes you can it pulls harder in the upper rpm ranges. If you track your car you will certainly feel this difference and probably notice better 1/4 mile times
Best sounding V6 I've ever heard to date! Borla really brings out the sound of the VQ engine! "Borla", "Fast Intentions", "Stillen" & "Motordyne Gamma" (True Dual) exhaust systems sound the best on these cars I.M.O
I know there are many other exhaust systems out there that sound great too. Like HKS, Nismo ect ect... I haven't heard them all yet so, I was just judging the true dual systems I really like. If I were to choose a system though, it would have to be the Borla True Dual System... Maybe with Berk HFC's or something similar.
The ypipe is from a company called Racingline based in Canada. They do quality work and it's really not that exensive (280). you'll see gains around 13 whp and 14 ftlbs torque. I have it on my coupe and love it
Im new to the whole modification of my car thing but I was wondering where did you get the y-pipe from? I have borla axle back now, did you have to change anything to get the y-pipe on? Is there a big difference with the y-pipe then with the just the pure axle back? Thank you for your help
wish someone would reply...how fast is your car after this? Is this enough to beat a g37 coupe to 60?
