anyone who has played st2 knows that Ryu is FAR from overpowered. his fireball is powerful but he is still one of the most balanced characters in the game.

In japanese, certain sounds are glazed over slightly.

For instance, in the word desu.

It's pronounced "dess" not "dessoo"

Ryu is supposed to be said somewhere in between roo and reeyoo.

Sort of like Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat.
