Actually, yes, it was that tight and the numbers did switch back and forth before your eyes... for Second Place! Obama had a historic victory here, but Hillary only came in third by about 10 ten delegates.
However, you are right about his softness on the Clintons, which I think infuriates Matthews more and makes him even harder on them.
