What? Fully naked guys with their schlongs hanging out in the audience? Now that's back to nature for your ass ! I guess the euro-freaks wanted to one-up Woodstock.
Matthew Katz, the same scumbag that robbed Moby Grape blind for their whole career & still gets the profits from most of their cd sales, used to manage It's a Beautiful Day & used every crooked means possible to rob them blind for decades.
Seems you just don't understand what it was about. The quality of the sound of the recording is from the 70 tees, so not as good as today it was all about something new and kicking. The bands were great and if you think they suck, you just have no taste for good music (in my opinion)
@DirkjeA The bands are great but the shit quality of sound is not excuseable, live or not. There are plenty of live concerts from that era & before with excellent recorded sound.
@metamorphosis67 Yes, but that was all recorded by professionals, this gives more the impression of being shot by some well meaning amateur, which gives us a great document of an era.
@metamorphosis67 Sorry, just checked on Wikipedia and learned that it is available on DVD. Film info: Documentaire, Kleur, 90 min., Regie: Hans Jurgen (Jason) Pohland en George Sluizer. Producers: Wolf Schmid en Sam Waynberg Filmeditor: Roger Spottiswoode, so I think this is maybe a bad excerpt of it? Can't imagine the DVD is of such bad quality.
