I think all the Balkan people is just a blend of many different ancient races and tribes. All these arguments that say that modern Greeks or Slavomacedonians are direct Great Alexander's descendants are nonsense. I think the matter of recognition and name of your country must depend on a geographic basis so that Greek Macedonians,Bulgarian Macedonians and your people have a unique ID (e.g. Slavomacedonians, North/Upper Macedonians) and no future territorial and other ethnic demands are implied.

This is Rembetiki Kompania, the first group that revived rebetiko music (rebetika). This video must be around late 70s. They are still around but individually, not as a band. The guitarist who sings is Dimitris Kontogiannis, the bouzouki player is Manolis Dimitrianakis,the baglama player George Kontogiannis
