  • they should make these like those 'slap on' bands they had back in the 90's and are trying to bring back lol. that way right when you get there you can just slap it on and not waste any time when starting manually would have been 5x faster

  • Paramedics recently used this machine on me after cardiac arrest. It helped them save my life.

  • @fussie11 minor correction, this kept you alive, the defibrillator got you going again :) either way congrats

  • aw hell no......i think i'll just do compressions till im tired then let my partner take over.........instead of digging it outta my rig and wasting time setting it up when i could just do something REALLY hard like: kneel, locate nippleline, begin compressions XD

  • Looks a whole lot better than "Thumper".

  • It was designed to avoid breaking ribs, which is a common problem with manual CPR

  • @NorCal052 its a common problem when you do it wrong....

  • I saw the "thumper" in action first hand. It was the most violent things ive ever seen. Ribs were deffinatly being broken!

  • but how long does this system take to set up? whould the set up time be short enogh to constitue not starting CPR right away?

  • that looks likea good system while it is doing chest compressions for you you can get medications in the patient faster and get them to the hosptial. looks like a very good tool to ahve.
