  • gutes interview!

  • i wish the german was gone!!

  • very very bad version .... .... Santana destroyed spirit of the song

  • @ctihodnymuz I really place a big ? mark behind your comment cause i dont know how familiar you really are when it comes to talk about the SPIRIT of this version of "Samba Pa Ti" In my opinion to be honest this is one of the best live versions i have seen so far.To critize somebody's work is one thing but to make it better is a other thing so i am sure you can outplay Carlos Santana anytime...

  • ..come on, it's his song, he can play it like he feels..I don't like this version..but that's life..

  • @ThaHomage Oh thanks for your response. I couldn't hear him very well. Santana & Brando forever! Big fan of both.

  • What did he say about Marlon Brando?

  • @master123926 he said..."an artist is someone who can act many movies ...with many faces.....just like marlon brando"

  • i dedicate this hyr tracc 2 ol girl Luela from $antana Bklocc CRip$

  • Thanks for all the great music Carlos, You and the worlds best......

  • This "Samba Pa TI " is lovely, GREAT, Thanks for sharing with us !

  • When Santana put down his SG Special he put down his tone. His tone has progressively gotten Worse.

    And worst of all.

PAUL REED SMITH is the Ultimate White Boy Guitar.

  • @dilbeaux Its Carlos' fault. I played a PRS Santana SE at GC and it sounded just like old school Santana coming thru an Egnator! It didn't sound like the new Santana tone at all. I think Carlos has screwed up his tone settings. He needs to dial his old settings back in IMHO. So in summary I don't think the axe is the problem. Santana on a Les Paul is my favorite tone, the SG lacked balls, the Gibson L6S was thin sounding and so was the Yamaha at times (except on Europa).

  • @osensei2987 Exactly right. Carlos playing his LP back in 72 through 74 was THE tone I always loved. I was fortunate to see him playing all the guitars you mentioned live but the PRS. I've never liked his tone through the PRS, it sounds like it's had a sinus infection.

After seeing the "Lotus" Santana band, I always felt a little empty after seeing his later bands. His tone and the greatness and chemistry of the musicans during Lotus has

    never again been reached IMO.

  • Gosh - this is a rare clip I think. It was GREAT! Carlos was in a peak period back then. What a master he was, and still is.

  • WOW. Hipster Carlos can play.

  • but they stepped on the solo those tv bitches

  • there's that beautiful piano part by leon patillo

  • wish i could hear the inner view, awesome vid!
