  • The water is full of algae that is why the water is green. Plus the salt level in Salton sea is increasing every year, therefore affecting all fish habitants that lives in the water.

  • @coldbluerain lol..ew

  • you guys are walking on dead fish bones.

  • Only tilapia can survive the levels of salinity, that's the reason there are dead fish. But the sea is very polluted as well! Toxic waste is dumped into the New River which ends up in this sea. Also, runoff from local farming is a great contributor. Its sad, yet its existence is still beautiful having one of the most beautiful sunsets in all of California.

  • Beautiful shots but too bad the videographer was unknowledgeable about the sea or they might have better understood the nature of the sea as we know it and not a simple matter of california simply "cleaning up" the water. And BTW.....that rusty/coffee looking water is the healthiest water in the sea. It is the greenish-clear water that kills the fish thanks to being devoid of oxygen. Wonder if he knew that most of the sand he was standing on was actually millions of fish bones???

  • dirty water means fish...... corvina

plus it's not pollution killing fish it's that there so many fish tightly packed, that the wewk ones are killed

  • @coldbluerain be prepared for an overbearing smell of rotten eggs!

  • Thanks for linking it to google earth!

  • That lake is surreal. Thanks for showing
