I think this might be my favourite song of all time. The cover by the Dougs. Wow. Paul should get a real band together, he's an amazing song writer and singer. He could really make a huge impact.. But he's getting old and frail, 46 I think he is now.
I first saw this on UK TV back in the early/mid-90s. DAAS used to appear every week on this show called "Viva Cabaret" where they'd do a couple of really raucous, explicit songs each week that had be laughing my ass off. Then, for the last episode of the series, they just came out and did this and it absolutely blew my mind.
Glad to see it still gives me goosebumps after all these years. Beautiful.
Paul, Tim and Richard, three very talented guys...

Old and frail, my arse. He's as fantastic as he ever was! I mean, he doesn't do the same kind of thing, but he's still the same incredible guy.

Totally agree. DAAS/Paul's version of Throw and Grapevine are moving. My favourite of Throw is the GNW final version in, what, 2004?
I also think Paul's version of Oops I did it again is better than the original.
