With the technology produced by metal storm we can store pods with 36 barrels holding 4 grenades in each one putting many pods on multiple satellites it will shoot pods at 4000 MPH 7 times the speed of sound shooting as fast as 1,000,000 grenades per minute. that is what we will use to destroy asteroids. If we have just 2 satellites with 7 pods it would be 2016 grenades with increased explosive force because of the velocity it is shot. All the grenades can be fired in less than a second.

It's funny that they mention Jupiter here, because in reality Jupiter keeps most of the asteriods from hitting the inner planets. Now, some do float through, but most are kept in line.

lol, dont be scared of fucking asteroids, get a fucking life. There is a one in 3000 chance an asteroid will strike in about 50 years, but even an asteroid that big wouldnt wipe out a single species. The worst you have to worry about with that one is tsunamis and meteor showers.
