yeah, but theres a pinch of realism involved. clubber was a tyson-like slugger, who could hit unbelieveably hard, but never went three rounds. He over-worked, tired himself out, and after he lost all his wind, he wasnt hard to put down. I'm simplifying, but so were you, it wasnt atall a 1/100 ratio lol...

plus, incase you havent noticed, this video is a composate of two different 'hollywood' fights, the first clubber won, the second clubber lost. rocky trained inbetween on movement, footwork, and stamina, to counter clubbers lack of all three... see the movie, this montage was pretty good, but the movie may make sense of it...

though i'm not saying this is realistic, no rocky movie was, but its till awesome entertainment, and makes more logical sense than you seem to be observing lol...

lol i hears ya... rockys technique is to hit hard and to take all punches head on, and to keep standing lol... no diping, dodging, or even blocking most of the time... which is suicide, to say the least. Rocky wouldnt of stood 3 rounds against apollo in R1 honestly, and in rocky4, drago punched w/ 1,500 lbs of pressure!! talk about realistic, lol.

But nonetheless, theyre some of my favorite movies... they opened me up to boxing, which is my favorite sport...

That all may be true if Rocky wasn't Rocky. However, Rocky is Rocky and taking those shots is what he is all about. Drago says "He is like a piece of Iron", Apollo's trainer said "I saw you beat that man like I saw no man get beat before, and he kept coming."

If he was normal and could get knocked out like a normal man then there wouldn't be much to make a movie out of.

Theres also the rocky6 "baptism under fire" speech to mason dixon - the fight proved to be just that.
