Can someone please explain why BBC has State of Decay, Planet of the Spiders, Full Circle, The Awakening, The Twin Dilema, and The Masque of Mandragora blocked in the US? Come on BBC, show some respect to the American fans! Thumbs up if you agree!
a big thank you to whom ever put these on hope you put on more.. love watching these with the kids ,,think it keeps dr who alivelol would be a shame to have forgotton all the classics ,keep putting them on please :D
keeps malfunctioning on my computer! It just plays the damn commercials and shuts off or shuts off half way through the episode. At least when people were uploading them in ten minute chunks they played through properly!
I loved the big hand-it scared the crap out of me when i was a kid!-John Pertwee was a superb Doctor and in my opinion the 2nd best!!(Tom Baker was and still is the best doctor who of all time)R.I.P. John..he was a lovely human being and a good actor, nobody else could have done worzel Gummidge~that was totaly "his".
Cheryl stood for election as the Labour Party parliamentary candidate for Canterbury in the 1997 General Election.
She also served as a member of Kent County Council, holding the position of Leader of the Labour group for a period.
She still acts occasionally, most recently in The Bill (2005), but her main job is now teaching. She teaches 12 to 16 year olds at Parkside Community School in Derbyshire.
How come I can get at Carnival of Monsters - which I have on DVD - but not Planet of the Spiders, which is blocked out of the country I'm currently in? Why exactly should my current physical location be a factor in whether or not I can see a particular video? How is this fair?
Ah, but wait for Stephen Moffat (the new writer) to get stuck into it, he's more of a Doctor Who purist than Davies is. He also tends to do more subtle storylines, "Blink" was one of his, and genius in my book. :)
There is so much in this episode that epitomises this era of Doctor Who ! What a dichotomy between the brilliance of the ideas, and the rather lamentable (even for 1973) costumes/sets.
I love the idea of this story-it haunted me as a child (must have been a re-run)...
It probably goes without saying, but these Doctor Who shows are absolute classics. Pure nostalgia. Thank you BBC for making these available. Brilliant!
It's good that these classic Doctor Who are now on YouTube. Hopefully some more will be available soon. The Sea Devils or Pyramids Of Mars would be most welcome.
thanks bbc,the last time i had the opportunity to see this was at about 5 o clock in the morning on uk gold a few years ago.I set my alarm but slept through it =(
That's what I thought. Harry making an early appearance. Later on though Ian Marter did write a few episodes of Doctor Who after he finished with the part of Harry.
@BlueStripedCurtains Yes it is.

BBC will only let us Americans watch season 6 and 10. That's not fair. We love Doctor who too.
BondFreek 2 years ago
@BondFreek That is unfair. We're all Who fans, so why can't we watch the show we love!

The BBC will only let us watch so much of Doctor Who, here in England
RadicalCreations42 2 years ago
That's weird. They block thier country's capital city? That does not make scence. Maybe you have a computer with Microsoft published in the USA.
