There is a beautiful DVD of this available from RETROMEDIA. Quarry & Fred Olen Ray provide a commentary track. If you see the DVD you will see how sharp the film really is .-Kevin SCARLET THE FILM MAGAZINE
This is one of my very favorite movies!!! Pico is awesome and the girls are beautiful. This movie has everything a movie goer goes for. I'd love to have an autographed picture of Bill Ewing.
my brother, ted linn, played the surfer in the opening sequence. he was killed before the credits rolled! they mispelled his last name as "lynn". that was his own hobie longboard my dad got him for christmas in the 60's from val surf.
Does anyone have the movie's opening sequence where the vampire's coffin washes ashore on a California beach? One of the most original vampire movie openings ever!
Amazing that as much as that trailer shows, you don't see John Fieldler in one scene, and I would think he was the best-known actor in the movie.

Major flashback of a movie for me. Definitely scared me as a kid.
There is one scene that is terrible.. when the wrong person is mistakenly killed in the coffin.
That was horrible.

This looks worse than Nude For Satan. Even below my low standards for ways to kill a weekend. At least some smelly hippies died.
