@rachid378 depends on what kind, anywhere from $100 for a Colombian black and gold to $400 for a Blue tegu. Personally, I recommend putting out the $250 for an Argentine Red, because they are naturally tame right out of the egg, while most of the others take a lot of patience and time to tame

Nice tegu. I use to do the same with 'damaged' feed. I no longer keep tegus, so I give them to a friend who has two of them.

A local reptile shop use to sell bags of damaged rodents at a discount. They were really cheap too.

@mando18 Just like us humans eating frozen meat, It doesn't really make much of a difference. Live food can injure the animal you're feeding. I've seen quite a few snakes and lizards with scars from being fed live food. I'm not saying it's wrong, as many reptiles will only eat live. It's just my opinion
