Wow...people are missing the point here...it's a food programme but Bourdain is also shedding light on an otherwise sheltered culture. I am non-Saudi and live in KSA and I do recognise the problems in the society...mainly the treatment of foreign migrant workers (many of whom are also Muslim) but that would never affect how I view the food culture which is very traditional and open and generous. A land of contrasts, and sometimes a land of contradictions....show me a place that isn't!

I love Saudi food! I lived and work there for 8 years. I had a great opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in Saudi Arabia, the Binzagr Company. I like the wheather in Jeddah - it's like summertime year-round, and I love the winters in Riyadh - cold but was always sunny! Whatever people say about Saudi. I still miss it. I really would like to visit or work again in Saudi Arabia. Thank you Binzagr Co. and thanks KSA.
