@Mistiestblue hey, get your facts right before you post, The Mac had an office suite way before MS Office, which was Apple Works, previously called something works, I forgot what it was called, now it is called iWork and it can do everything Excel can and better
It was called ClarisWorks, and produced by Apple subsidiary Claris, that eventually divested and became FileMaker Inc.. Apple took back the rights to it's office suite and changed the name to AppleWorks (eventually letting it wither and moving on to iWork). It was first released in '84, so it's technically older than Office ('89 for Mac / '90 for Windows), but the main parts of Office had been out since '82~3 (Word/Excel), so the "which was first?!" argument is kinda pointless.
Windows has DirectX, a powerful technology, especially for gamers, unfortunately, it is proprietary to Microsoft, Macs rely on open source techology, such as OpenGL and OpenCL, unfortunately, it is not as useful in gaming, but it excels in in multimedia, and Mac OS X is programmed to use that while Windows is programmed to use DirectX. Windows use both DirectX and OpenGL, plus all the other open source technologies, giving you the best of both worlds, however, you do have to compromise a bit.
They overlook the fact that Mac has almost zero potential to be used by a gamer. Windows runs plenty of games and, with the right set-up, runs them extremely well.
I have a few games for my Mac. Call of Duty 4, Quake 4 and on an 8-core Mac Pro it flies. But if I really wanted to play games I would buy a PS3 or Wii and connect it to my 55" LED TV with 5.1 surround sound.
When PC people say Windoze is better it's because it's cheaper and plays more games. So what! I drive a BMW and you drive a Ford Echo.
No, because what that won't tell you is that people are stupid enough to go on bad sites and get shitty protection software like Norton, McAfee or AVG.
PC's work as well as the person whose using them knows how to. Downgrading to Mac might help you if your stupid, but it's not better.
Think about it like this: if any computer is too complex for a child, you could get him a typewriter to write on, but just because he can use it doesn't make it superior. You only limit his capability to learn.
You read up to downgrading and stopped, right? Windows is better, it just requires knowledge, and I gave a good example of a similar situation. Just because one person doesn't know enough to run one thing doesn't make the secondary better. With knowledge of how to properly use it, a Windows or Linux will wipe the floor with a Mac.
Hit you deep didn't I? I broke your argument open, so now you cry like a butt-hurt fan boy?
When it gets down to it, the only point that is visible in your argument was that Mac is simpler to use. There really is nothing better about it otherwise, and simple doesn't make better.
@SpArTaN2567 Go cry to yo mama :P Easier means better so you can be more productive and creative. I see your POS movies show text on screen. WOW simply amazing. It's also better because of a more seamless use of Adobe apps and iLife. You wouldn't know that, of course. is that lice windows 80 or what XD? you can do pretty much know what you do on a mac on a pc o_o; really and sometimes better cause plug ins that you can use in PC you CANT use in mac and many programs . you can do what windows did best and! do things mac did.
I can understand that to a degree. But you should realize the ease of use and integration of a macintosh based system. Try one, you'll be presently surprised XD.
I own a Mac, but I try not to take sides in the "Mac vs PC" argument.

You mean UPGRADING to a Mac since they are easier to use without troubleshooting, anti virus issues, etc.

Got get laid or something. Find something better to do than argue on YouTube. Nobody cares what kind of computer you prefer.
