  • hola!!! merry christmas!!

  • This is great! Thank you very much , I am enjoying this

  • I'm from the USA and to hear our beloved Dean Martins' rendition of this Christmas song was very nice,.. thanks !

  • It's the best version!

  • Thanks whiteja1989 for your reply. I know that BBC Worldwide is funded by sales of its programmes abroad, publishing, etc, but many of the extracts are taken from programmes made with licence fee money. I believe the BBC does, or did, own part of the UK TV channels - but even if they do not a lot of their programmes come from the BBC.

  • Don't British people say Happy Christmas?

  • Hello apr28. British people do say 'Happy Christmas' - but 'Merry Christmas' is more usual. As 'merry' is often used as a euphemism for 'drunk' this seems appropriate!

  • Andrew, I couldn't have put it better. Merry Christmas, mate.

  • As AndrewofWare points out, we're more likely to say Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

  • This is GENIUS!

  • click on 25 today!

    lol.

  • Commercials make me not want to come here ever again. Double Plus BAD!

  • what commercials? O.o

  • I was subjected to watching one prior to the video. It's probably randomized... Like winning the lottery only lame.

  • Excelente vídeo.

  • Oh wow, this is interactive! That's great. Doesn't know here though. Should show lots of dust and heats waves. Hahahaha.

  • Brilliant. Now I know what I pay my licence fee for. Last year I kept forgetting to check for the latest Advent calendar video, but making it interactive this should help me.

  • This is made by BBC Worldwide which is not funded by the license fee. BBC Worldwide is the BBC's commercial 'arm'. Mostly for non-UK business. It gets it money from magazine/book publishing, merchandising, BBC America, the UKTV brand, and library footage sales among other things. Some of the profit it makes also goes back to 'BBC UK' ie in 07/08 64% of its profit was invested in in-house and independant programmes commissioned by the BBC in the UK

  • the BBC owns UKTV?! thats new!

  • You either didn't understand what I wrote or you're being sarcastic. I'm gonna hope for sarcastic

  • o no no i meant i didnt no dat b4 u wrote it m saying thanks!

  • it owns it jointly with Virgin Media

  • It also owns Dave.

  • Humbug

  • George Weah

  • What a lovely idea!

(please don´t make me watch Del boy falling through the bar again)

  • This is Great! Will be back for the next 24 days to see the videos. Great work!
