  • @BRICSSCO THEY SHOULD THEIR PENSION TO 401K LIKE THE PRIVATE SECTORS!

  • this vid is a load of crap.working class needs to stand together. solidarity forever, the union makes us strong

  • the public workers live off the backs of the private sector.

  • People who think public work is somehow more noble than private sector work are a bunch of idiots. The private sector built america along with capitalism and free market ideals.

  • they should quit and go work in the private sector like a normal person would.

  • Want to squeeze money from a private fatcat profiteering capitalist, go ahead; fatcat started enterprise, fatcat can shut it down. Want to squeeze money and benefits from the coiffures of the vast taxed, say pretty please. Ingrates do not engender sympathetic listeners, violent brats precipitate their own downfall.

  • Remember that union benifits are a result of negotiation between management and the union. Management agrees to grant the payouts. In the case of government workers "management" is your elected officials. I have witnessed union workers caught stealing and reporting to work drunk return to the job as a result of union pressure. Maybe that type of action is the real issue?

  • Cut their total pay and benefits by about 30-50% and they can collectively bargain all they wish.

Also, we probably could privatize and cut their overall workforce by 50% to become a more productive economy.

  • Human hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

When the economy was booming, and the private sector was making a killing, no one gave a SHIT that public sector employees didn't share in that boom.

Now that their party is over they want to come to us to take away what we have. It's like the "Prodigal Son" who, after enjoying all his cash, goes broke and returns to his father to support him. Absolutely sickening.

  • PRIVATE UNIONS must rise up AGAINST these Public Unions!!!

Private Unions stand behind the workers rights! They don't steal tax dollars from the workers that earned it to pay for their own pensions and benefits!!!

  • williejenkins666 just called himself a "fucktard".

  • Check out the commenter williejenkins666 channel - his "about me" self description is "I am better than you". 'Nuff said.

  • YouWorkForUs. net ? More corporate-funded populist astroturf? The fake groups came out of the woodwork in Wisconsin to defend Walker on television and radio, it's sickening listening to it every eight minutes. I'd bet they've spent a minimum of $50 million on advertising here, to no apparent effect.

  • @pollclaire Everything you disagree with = Astroturf. Anything funded by unions and their partner groups = Good?

I'm sure that is that math for you, prick.

  • @williejenkins666 EVERY union exists because it's members cast a majority vote to create it. If the people who comprise a union do not approve of it, they can cast a ballot to decertify, and the union no longer exists. Democratic process, majority rule.

Astroturf is one wealthy person (or several) who write checks to create a phony populist group with almost no members.

Love the name-calling from anonymous posters. That's so brave of you! You make the right wing look like angry children.

  • @pollclaire And unions resort to bully tactics to create their unions and once in place, what really stops them from pretty much doing anything they want at that time? Wisconsin is NOT a right to work state. People are generally stupid and do what their union bosses tell them to do. It is both hilarious and sad at the same time.

People like you and your pal call everything you disagree with as "astroturf" but you don't understand that these protests with the unions are exactly that.

  • @williejenkins666 I am so happy Wisconsin is not a 'right to work' state. I think that's some sort of code word for 'southern state'. Through Federal spending of tax revenues, the movement of money from Blue to Red states constitutes the largest, most continuous wealth transfer in the history of mankind. In other words, we make money, the south (sorry, the 'right to work' states) spends it. Enjoy your free lunch. BTW, I'd be happy if you would look that up, just so you can see it for yourself.

  • @pollclaire "Southern states" including Idaho, Utah, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Wyoming?

You are hilariously stupid. "Right to work" states have no correlation to states that benefit from federal spending. The study you are obviously mentioning specifically states the reasons behind such expenditures. Get your head out of your ass, dummy.

  • @williejenkins666 All the states you just mentioned are net beneficiares of the federal tax structure. Some of them get as much as $1.50 in federal spending for each dollar paid in taxes. Was there a point hidden somewhere in your diatribe? I'd love to chat further, but I have to work in order to subsidise your low-wage right-to-work lifestyle.

  • @pollclaire Right to work state means NOTHING you smarmy shithead. The study itself says states with WEALTHY individuals pay much more in federal taxes which is why the numbers skew the way they do.

New Jersey has more millionaires than most of those other states do combined... millionaries that are NOT "union" members, dummy. So why does "right to work" have to do something with it?

You are a stooge. Look at the fucking study yourself, dipshit. They also point to saavy politicans.

  • @williejenkins666 saavy = savvy. Either way, states with more people who make more pay more in federal taxes. You are an ignorant sack of shit to assume that "right to work" plays a role in that when it clearly doesn't.

DC is ranked #1 in that study and they are liberal and not right to work. What about that? Oh yeah - Federal workers count and skew that number as well.

    Man, you are a fucktard.

  • "What a day for the tea party people. Did you see that? America’s parks and fairgrounds were lost in a sea of man-boobs. They were venting their anger and rage against taxes, which, of course, in most cases for them went down. Protesting their taxes went down – but you know, why let the truth spoil a perfectly good Klan rally." –Bill Maher

  • @howedesign You call other people out for watching Glenn Beck and then spew lines from Bill Maher? Do you not see a problem in this? You are stupid and that is really all that can be said about that.

  • Everyone should go have a look at this poster's (IP0Monsturd) channel and check out all the negative comments about him. He's so proud of the almost universally bad response he is getting from other people that he actually leaves the posts up. He MUST be a troll and not worth a second thought.

  • I FUCKING hate every public union member. Why is it that they all look like hippie freeloaders? Commie whiny bitches.

  • "The teabaggers want to 'take back America'. They want to take it back, all right – take it all the way back to the 19th century when there was no right to organize; when people worked for a dollar a day; when grown men competed against children for jobs; when women were barred from most jobs entirely; when you worked until you died, not to mention slavery. They want an America that provides cheap labor to our corporate overlords, where the middle class is chained by debt." - Alan Grayson

  • @howedesign You are a deranged piece of shit with not an original thought in your tiny mind. Go get more "information" put into your warped mind on your favorite leftist blogs. You are dumb as a fucking rock.

  • I don't care what yuou do, you don't mess with teachers. Where would you be today without teachers? Don't tell me they are overpaid; my speech teacher is in an apartment complex across from the school. As my w. history teacher jokes, "I get paid two chickens a year."

  • My chem teacher is there from 7-5 if you need help, as well as work with every science fair kid. My eng teacher has taken home a crate of papers to grade over the weekend before. My math teacher has taught while half dead from pull in an all-nighter grading tests. Go tell them they live lavish lifestyles. Doctors get paid lots to save lives, lawyers get paid lots to defend livers, while teachers get paid crap to create lives.

  • Please watch the movie / documentary called "WAITING FOR SUPERMAN" this tells the real deal situation about the teachers union and the shit state of our public schools.

  • @rts4761 Keep on fighting bro, we outnumber the liberal idiots.

  • @rts4761 OK, I'm done with your Libertarian nonsense.

  • @howedesign No, it's the majority of Americans that are done with your Liberal entitlement crap.

  • @rts4761 And, the "rule of law" you reference comes from amendments to the Constitution which Ron and Rand Paul would love to erase.

  • @howedesign Gov. Walker has signed the bill and the earthquake in Japan has knocked you little union stooges all the way back to page A27 in our local paper. You clowns were used by the DNC, Michael Moore and Jesse Jackson! LOL

  • @rts4761 Then why throw around inflammatory remarks and misleading statements? It's easy to match that crap. If you're a Ron Paul supporter, this is a perfect example of why he'll never make it (even if he has a FEW valid points to make). Strict Constitutionalists are dinosaurs. The Constitution was written in a simplistic age irrelevant to the complexities of today.

  • @rts4761 And like I said you are misinformed about the correct political leanings. Try to carefully read my comments, please. I have no time to waste with human waste.

  • @rts4761 I heard that Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder are looking for you.

  • @rts4761 By the way, why haven't you posted any videos to YouTube since you joined in 2008? You're contributing about as little to your cause as any other right winger. Most of you lack any creativity except in hate.

  • @rts4761 Extremist and hate groups have grown to over 1000 in the US for the first time in history and they're mostly right-wing according to The Southern Poverty Law Center. Which one do you belong to?

  • @rts4761 You say "anyone could be a better teacher than the mentally disturbed liberals who run public schools". Aw, did some "liberal" teacher rap your dragging knuckles when you were in school? You certainly haven't learned anything sitting in front of Glenn Beck's chalkboard. Even the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Poll reported March 3rd that almost six In ten Wisconsin voters disapprove of Wanker Walker. Translated for mouth-breathing morons like you that's 60% of likely Wisconsin voters..

  • @howedesign You are fully indoctrinated douchebag. Move along little sheep.

  • @rts4761 You say "american (sic) liberals are today's fascists". Shows your complete ignorance of history and facts. Try using the appropriate insult: "American liberals are today's socialists". Typical uninformed FOX lemming who doesn't know the difference. So, you minority are going to " take our country back" from the majority. How you going to do that, knuckle-dragger?

  • @QuartuvLarry Yeah totally bro! ZING! Boy you got me there! I AGREE! Let's privatize everything, unleash our kindergardeners into the flawless wonders of the private sector!

Perhaps we could give no bid education contracts to Halliburton to give our children online courses instead!

  • There are at least 83 doucheballs that think they are actually OWED something.

    Lay-offs needed.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Scary music set to teachers and school buses! YES SCHOOL BUSES!!!

  • @astronautagogo Such stunted short-sightedness. Must've been a public school graduate.

  • Hi there, I'm someone looking through the ' window' , but my experience with Unions is that you are hired under a title, and if the job is beneath the title or not in the ' job' requirement, I'm not going to do the job.

  • @howedesign no idea, Sorry pal, I got confused :-) I thought he is answering to me. I am tired anyway since it is late here in Switzerland :-) My appologies

  • @KimIsIll Please tell me you have wonderful panoramic views of the Alps.

  • @howedesign :-) Yep, I have an apartment here at the boarder to Zurich and I see the Mountains (down there in Luzern). Well, its dark now but when the weather is nice the view is perfect :-) Where are you from in the US? I used to live in the US for about 5 years in California and Massachusetts.

  • Comment removed

  • @howedesign Hey, I drove once to Maine. My buddy and me went up while I lived in Boston. That’s when I drove through Connecticut. Very nice coast! Well, it’s always the same thing my friend. I live here since I was born and the Alps are beautiful but I see them every day :-) So it’s nothing special for me even though I love to see them every time.

  • @howedesign For me, Connecticut (As well as the entire East Coast) is as interesting as the Alps for you are. I guess people are not meant to stay and live just in one place. We are still nomads, in one way or the other. Well, that's the way I see this.

  • @CortexEffect94 U guys are free to do whatever you want. I am not trying to propagate pro unions. My point is, I am suprised to see how people vote against themselves. It looks like the US government and its incredibly powerful tool "the media" seem to confuse people for their own good. Again, I only encourage you to inform yourself about it. Take a look what other countries do for again, you guys are further away from democracy than any western EU country my friend. Im serious.

  • @CortexEffect94 LIAR! All current important Russian unions have been formed between 1990 and 1995. The Russian Communist Workers' Party was established in October 2001 and claimed about 55,000 members in 2006 or roughly .00038 of total population. There are 33 million members in all the major unions. The total population of Russia is 142 million. 23% of Russia's total population, men, women and children is unionized.

  • @CortexEffect94 If you want a healthy democracy, let the people speak out! Let them fight for their rights! Unions are a powerful tool for the common worker. I encourage you to have a look at France, Germany etc. Read what common people think about unions in Europe. Read about what University professors and intellecutals think about unions. Dont read what companies and some powerful politicans think about it because they are profit orientated and nothing else.

  • @CortexEffect94 The matter of fact is, we have unions here all around Europe and we need them, otherwise companies would do what the hell they want to do. They are already trying to push our unions out of perspective because of the economic crisis. People are being pushed around, one day you have a job (as long as the company needs you) the other day you get fired. More and more companies try to come up with low wage jobs etc. The unions are on the streets and fight for their rights!

  • Communists used it as a false pretences other than it was the case in democratic countries where the people wanted/needed them! Now, not many people seem to know this in the USA. The problem is, some politicians who massively profit without having unions, since in the USA almost every business-man, industrialist etc. has a seat in the congress, and they use this false theory (as a strategy) to frighten people!

  • Public unions will be gone in a few years, there days are numbered....Why? because there is no more money to pay for these greedy pensions, etc. and the public should not have to pay for it....Let everything go to the private sector and people will be rewarded by there merit and not entitlements...

  • It's also funny how unions bitch about how broke they are when they donate millions to the Democrats.

  • damn unions are going to bankrupt wisconsin, nevermind the $190 million walker gave in corporate tax cuts, thats not the problem.

  • Public workers Unions are going to be a thing of the past, as a former public worker i have seen what the Union does to the tax payer, the pensions, health care.

  • @rts4761 Sure, this is why we have less problems with healthcare and that is why our economy (Thanks to the US, by the way) is getting back on track. Fucking read before you post comments.

  • A shameful display of partisan politics at it's worst.

  • What a magnificent compilation. Bless you guys!

  • Why are unions relevant now ?

  • You guys in the USA are so fucking backward. The USA claims to have the most democratic country in the world (which is a joke anyways) but once again you guys show that you are moving further and further away from democracy. Communists are not the ones who want the Unions, communists are the ones who are against them! Let these people have a voice! DEMOS KRATIA! VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!!!

  • We have unions, here in Europe, for decades and yes, we pay here as well for them a small amount of money (in fact they are payed by the Gov. out of the taxes) but they are here when we need them! I would feel more confortable knowing that my tax money ends up in a protective union fond instead of ending up for senseless military spendings! You guys should start to wake the fuck up already over there and start to look at things from a clear sighted perspective!

  • @KimIsIll You're lucky you don't have to live in the same country with these morons like I do. The conservatives constantly vote against their own interests because they are woefully uninformed. The United States has been moving towards Fascism, not Communism but these morons can't even see it.

  • @howedesign Very well said my friend. They are trying the same here in Europe step by step but the people here are perfectly aware of it. Good luck and dont give up fighting!

  • @KimIsIll Communists hate democracy. Look at Cuba and North Korea.

  • @StoogeWatcher I was just answering to someone who claims that communists are behind all these unions... Of course I know that communists dislike the ideal of a democracy, I have my roots in Serbia and we got rid of these people (communists) They distroyed everything in our country. What is even worse than communism is a democracy heading/transforming into a fascist government. We, the people, should stay awake and alerted, together! We need to keep questioning things on a rational base.

  • It does not matter whether you guys are democrats or republicans. I have the feeling that people in the USA dont get this. You guys need to unite as people and question the gov. as much as you can! Same here in my country and everywhere else! I am no sheep and I do not let myself manipulate by their campaign propaganda. I do my research independently and decide rational. Well, its a hard task and hard work but anyone can/should do so.

  • @KimIsIll YOU are fucking backwards you stupid bitch. These people are living off the taxpayers' dime, and reeling in their benefits which is much better than the taxpayer which pays for it is the only way, you fucking dumb bitch.

  • @itachi705 You seem to be very smart and very well educated. Learn how to communicate with people first. I’m not wasting my time on people like you.

  • @KimIsIll hey dipshit, we don't have a democracy over here, maybe you do in socialist Europe, but we have a Democratic Republic. VERY different. Chump...

  • @jonerton67 Get educated pal. You guys knew what democracy means decades ago. What you now experience in your country is lightyears away from it! Wake up!

  • @jonerton67 Listen, Cletus, there are even people who claim that the USA represents the center of the Universe. I am not buying it, BECAUSE I THINK FOR MYSELF! Now stop giving me all that crap about a “democratic” republic and a “socialist” Europe. You don’t even know what a Social-Democracy is! But hey, it sounds very “RED” and “BAD”, right? Very uneducated but hey at least you got ONE good purpose. You are easily manipulable and a perfect tool for opinion shapers.

  • BEFORE the REVOLUTION starts in USA

there will be a ALIEN INVASION

fake or not it will happen!

  • @rufullofshitusa It sounds to me as if most people here are dare I say jealous of the public sector unions. Why should these people give up the benefits they have fought and negotiated for over the years? To pacify an envious private sector? It is not these working people's fault that the economy is in the tank. Although it is not their fault, these people have decided to help clean up the mess by taking substantial hits to the benefits they have bargained for.

  • "Team Obama is handing out more exemptions from ObamaCare, and the numbers have increased from the 33 of a few weeks ago… many of the now 111 “escapees” from ObamaCare are unions to whom Obama owes favors. Outrageous."

  • How much do you pay monthly? (is what I meant)

  • Union members... How much do you in dues monthly?

  • What pay raises are you people speaking of? They haven't seen a pay raise in YEARS! In fact, they've technically taken pay cuts with furloughs WHICH THEY PAY FOR. Last year, my fiance paid 400/mos for insurance and she is a state employee. Get your facts straight. Quit watching faux news and snorting the koch. This video is disgusting.

  • @quaffer22.... You're exactly right!

  • On top of that, it says the Union collects $126 million in dues , but does not cover the cost of the replacement teachers..... No wonder these states are bankrupt

  • Why is it that in New York, they pay other teachers to replace them while they tend to Union activities? It costs taxpayers 9 million a year to pay for the 'fill ins' while they carry out responsibilities for the United Federation of Teachers. (according to this article) ...

  • A union employee, a tea party activist, and a CEO are sitting at a table with a plate of a dozen cookies in the middle of it. The CEO takes 11 of the cookies, turns to the tea partier and says, 'Watch out for that union guy. He wants a piece of your cookie."

  • You've been brainwashed by listening to the same FOX&FRIENDS sound bytes, over and over and over again. You've been drinking the Glen Beck Jonestown Special Koolaid for so long you're immune.

The CHINESE&VIET CONG learned years ago, if you are indoctrinted with the same sound bytes, over and over, you will do and say what you are told by your handlers.

Sorry, you are the weakest link-Goodbye!

  • and and estimated $15-$27 billion shortfall..... One could draw the conclusion that it is not the public sector causing these economic woes but some other factor. And let me just say that before I am accused of being a union "boss" or supporter.... I am no way affilated with any such organization.

  • @capt251978

you're right, medicaid is the primary factor, although government employees need to have their benefits and pay cut to reflect the productive sector workers.in every state and on the federal level.

  • intent of this legislation- to effectively break the public sector unions. As far as the flaw of the idea of pensions and benefits being the factor as to which Wisconsin finds it' self in economic shortfall, let me address this arguement in this manner-- If you take the budget shortfall of the state of Wisconsin being around $2.5 billion, which has very generous benefit packages for public sector employess and compare it to say, Texas which has very little in the way of public sector benefits-

  • T his arguement that the public sector unions are the driving forces behind the economic woes of the Wisconsin are flawed. Granted that in these times of uncertainity, everyone needs to tighten their belts and help out. Wisconsin public worker unions have made the concessions asked of them short of a complete repeal of their collective bargaining rights, yet there is no sign of any type of comprimise being accepted by Gov. Walker as of yet. This fact alone should be evidence enough of the real -

  • @capt251978 The pre-Walker administration had been negotiating "for months" with union leaders and achieved little more than a "no raise" compromise. Who are these people to take so much time/money away from the Wisconsin govt and why do they get to vote AND negotiate daily when taxpayers only get to vote every 2-4 yrs? How much did it cost taxpayers to legally address the Milwaukee Teacher Union's demand for tax-payer funded Viagra ($800K/year) that they referred to as "a right"?

  • Lest anyone forget the unions have already expressed a willingness to ACCEPT lower pay and benefits but it is the governor and his Koch brothers backers that refuse any kind of talks. No one seems to even mention how Walker is a completely owned stooge of the Koch billionaires and how the bill in question would allow the governor to sell state owned power plants, gee I wonder what brothers might stand to benefit from that provision????

  • This video is the worst kind of propagandistic swill. The unions have done nothing to create the problems faced by the states or any other body. The "lavish" compensation is so much garbage. Is it not better that EVERYONE have higher wages and better benefits? Rather than tear down what has been bitterly fought for in decades of struggle? The rich and Wall Street are to blame for ALL of the problems this country has look at them for a change, they grow rich on your misery and divisiveness.

  • It's the peoples money STUPID, not sole property of the UNIONS!

    Simple as THAT.

  • I'll tell you another thing.

You don't see the Tea Party supporters in favor of Gov Scott assaulting people or shouting to drown anyone who has a different point of view then theirs like the UNION THUGS are.

Love or HATE Fox, those reporters have the right to do their reporting.

Unions have shown they HATE anybody who doesn't share their viewpoints.

Or at least it sure as hell seems that way.

I guess only UNION protestors have the RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!

  • Enough is Enough! Public Sector Unions must negotiate with the Tax Payers not Politician! It's easy for Democrats to give away other peoples money! It's our money DAMN IT and WE'RE TAPPED OUT!!! FROM NOW ON YOU NEGOTIATE WITH THE TAXPAYERS WHO FOOT THE BILL!!

  • @PatriotBenS Well said Ben!

  • Why is this a "promoted video?" Who's paying for this special designation? I sure would like to know; my guess? Private business and corporations. Don't buy this crap for one second, do your research and you will find that public sector workers do not make more than private sector workers, even including their benefits and the general job stability that they enjoy, which should be something that all workers get to a reasonable extent. Instead, the crisis is being put on their backs. Fight back!

  • “The U.S. trade deficit is a bigger threat to the domestic economy than either the federal budget deficit or consumer debt and could lead to ‘political turmoil.’ Pretty soon, I think there will be a big adjustment.” -- Warren Buffett

An Inflation-Neutral Balanced Trade System (BTS), inspired by Warren Buffett’s 2003 Import Certificate Plan is introduced at the top of page 4 of the Pdf, which is available at:

    democrats.waysandmeans.house.gov/media/pdf/111/2010Sept15_Campbell_Submission.pdf

  • i love how most people commenting on this video seem to think democrats and union workers don't pay their taxes.

  • @nds711D

    They DO pay taxes.

They pay them with Tax-Payer Dollars.

Conversely: Tax-payers pay their taxes, to only have them go into the pockets of Government Workers & Union Employees.

    There IS a distinction.

AND, 90% of Union political funds go to Democrats, or anyone else who will promise them something in return for their votes.

The Government (employees) is funding (buying) politicians that tax EVERY class of citizen.

Unions get all of their taxes back, via pay raises & demands.

  • @quaffer22 Exactly.

And what about the violence against those who disagree with the unions?

What I've seen has been nothing short of outrageous.

A Fox News reporter was talking the other night about the ordeal he has gone through from the union workers who have been shouting and harrassing him and looking at him with " HATE IN THEIR EYES".

I guess when you are Democrats LAWS are irrelevant, freedom of speech is only for CERTAIN people and those who DARE not agree have to FEAR THEIR SAFETY!

  • These people remind me of Spoiled Teenagers. You give the Kid a Car, Cell Phone & Allowance and then one day you go Broke and you ask the Kid to give up at least his Cell Phone, but the kid rants and complains.

Stop expecting the Taxpayer to be the Parents and you Government Workers continuing to be the Teenagers, Grow Up, your State is Broke like mine

  • Gosh, and I thought the recession was caused by the greedy wall street corporations making bad loans and reckless investments. The public employees didn't create this crises, but the right sure seems intent on using the situation to try to take away rights and benefits earned over long years of hard work. Who will want these jobs now, public employees work harder for less pay than private sector employees of comparable education and experience.

  • End public unions for good; all they do is stifle industry and put burdens on taxpayers with their "poor me", greedy attitudes.

  • The dumbest video i ever seen . You have to be the most ignorant dickhead .

  • Unions ARE America. If we all unionized, the working middle class would have a chance against the corporate criminals in the country.

  • @howedesign How about the union criminals in the country?

  • The Obama GOVERN-MENTAL PLOYS continue on - It's selection time of the year a hero must arise. LOL

  • Lets move them to Mexico.

  • Getting angry with the last unions left in America is nonsensical. The problem is not that they have benefits that you don't (they're about to lose), the problem is that you lost yours. The problem is that unions have collapsed across America. The problem is that Americans are losing their right to collectively bargain. The problem is that Americans are losing those victories of the 19th and 20th centuries for good working conditions, benefits, pensions, a living wage, etc.

  • @PhiloAmericana You're wrong. The democrats and the public sector union formed an unholy alliance. There is no one to speak for the taxpayers. Private sector unions cannot get nearly as much from management because management is looking out for their shareholders. Democrats could not care less about the taxpayers so they give away the bank to the greedy public unions. I hope Walker pulls a "Reagan" and fires all those union protesters.

  • @IP0Monsturd

Of course, that's largely false. Most Democrats have been neoliberal in their ideology. Bill Clinton was with NAFTA, Obama has been with his approach to the economy, and so have most of the senators and representatives. If America has been so entangled with unionization and its ties with Democrats, why is it at a historic low? Why are Democrats supporting trade policies which harm unions? Democrats are closer in line negative approaches to liberty, rather than positive.

  • @PhiloAmericana You are right in regard to Unions in the private sector. I'm talking about public sector unions and their incestuous relationship with elected officials (primarily democrats) It takes at least two sides to negotiate a FAIR outcome. The dems are not only sitting on the same side of the bargaining table as the unions, they are sitting on the union bosses laps. And the taxpayer gets screwed because they are not represented at the bargaining table.

  • @IP0Monsturd Public AND private unions contribute to Democrats - they represent the bulk of Democrat funding. Seven of the top ten highest donors to political campaigns are corporations primarily to Republicans. The other three are unions contributing primarily to Democrats. Unions are the ONLY ones speaking up for the hard working middle class (taxpayers).

  • @howedesign I was in the I.A.M. long enough to qualify for a small pension if I make it to 65. Save your "union talking points" for the feeble minded retards in your own Local. Just pay your dues, put on your dress and let the union speak for you like a good little girl. This is not GOP against Dems & Big Labor. It's Greedy Unions & power hungry dems against the over burdened taxpayers.

  • @IP0Monsturd . Extremist and hate groups have grown to over 1000 in the US for the first time in history and they're mostly right-wing according to The Southern Poverty Law Center. Which one do you belong to?

  • @howedesign The SPLC is the real hate group. They hate Jews, Christians, critics of radical Islam, and American soldiers.

  • @StoogeWatcher "The Southern Poverty Law Center is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry".

  • @howedesign The SPLC SUPPORTS hate and bigotry, especially against Jews, Christian, critics of radical Islam, and military veterans. And the SPLC pays themselves handsomely to smear America.

  • @howedesign I belong to the overburdened taxpayers group. I "hate" anybody who steals from me. I don't care if you are wearing a firemans hat or leaning on a shovel for 8 hours a day. Get your fucking hands out of my wallet.

  • @IP0Monsturd Tell that to the CEOs of Wall Street who stole huge sums of taxpayer money for their bonuses.

  • @howedesign Tell that to the UAW at GM. Their "Job Bank" program was the final nail in big labors coffin. The American public is now aware of the corrupt unions and their partner in crime, the DNC. It's over Johnny.

  • @IP0Monsturd Maybe you should home-school your kids to save all of us a little money. And fix your own pot holes and put your own house out when it's on fire. Taxpayers will thank you for your Libertarianism because teachers will have a little more time to spend with the children of taxpayers who care, and firemen will be able to be a little more responsive to house fires of taxpayers who support them, and all taxpayers will avoid your street.

  • @IP0Monsturd In 1980 the tax rate on the richest was 70%. Now it's 35%. This all started with Reagan's disastrous "trickle-down" economic theories which lowered the top marginal tax bracket from 70% to 50%. Arthur Laffer is still laughing at the gullibility of the American people. We got screwed by the rich and they have to pay up.

  • @howedesign So you think the rich should have to pay for everything...They already pay for about 80% of everything that is used with tax money, things like the roads you dive on, the cops who protect you...Everyone should all pay the same percentage of taxes and stop punishing the ones who produce the most..

  • @wordwarrior42 The richest 10% control 73% of the wealth. The bottom 90% control 27%. They should be taxed accordingly. Right now the top pays only 35% and many of them pay nothing. Where did you get your figures from, FOX? Stop demonizing the teachers and start blaming the real culprits, Wall Street CEOs and their huge bonuses. They screwed up the world economy not the teachers. And you want to reward which group again?

  • @howedesign where do you get your info, Obama??? the top 10% pay over 45% income tax and since when is it a crime to be wealthy??? I am far from wealthy and I commend people who are...Some are evil and crooked, but a much higher percentage of poor are evil...Taxes should be the same percent for everyone period...And unions ARE the main cause of bankrupting states...Do you think its fair for taxpayers to pay for union retired workers who produce nothing??

  • @wordwarrior42 Google "Historical Top Tax Rate". The top link should be for "Tax Policy Center" which shows that between 2003 and 2011 the tax rate on the wealthiest has been 35%. I've seen other stats that back this up. Your tired and ridiculous assertions that "unions are the main cause of bankrupting states", ad nauseum, flies in the face of the truth. Taxpayers bailed out Wall Street crooks with huge bonuses. I side with giving a decent wage to the working class and putting the rest in jail.

  • @howedesign ....35 % of fed withholding, but thats not including state tax, etc. etc. which is at least 45%...My main point is not a union members wages while they work, its the pensions payrol and benifits that are killing the states. its common for a union member to retire at 50, work tons of overtime the last year and inflate there pension, then go back to work in another union and retire again for a double pension. Its a common scam that should be stopped NOW

  • @wordwarrior42 You have my total agreement about union member scams. But doesn't the scale of a worldwide crash caused by Wall Street pigs who've paid themselves huge bonuses with taxpayer money kind of outweigh that? Google "2011 Executive Compensation: Taking Stock" and see what happened to the bailout money begun under Bush. Who is the bigger criminal? Who should we be going after first?

  • @IP0Monsturd “I have one dollar in my wallet. That’s more than the combined income tax liability of GE, ExxonMobil, Citibank, and the Bank of America. That means somebody is gaming the system.” Carl Gibson, the founder of US Uncut

  • "YOU work for us." Don't we know it. NO TEACHER WENT INTO TEACHING FOR THE MONEY. You've got to be kidding if you think anyone with a Master's Degree + would accept that kind of paycheck and endure the constant criticism for every ill in society when they are the ones actively trying to SERVE the needs of kids. If you want the truth about what is happening in WI, watch Rachel Maddow's video "Wisconsin Republicans go for the kill shot". Pretty hard to "refudiate" that, as Sara would say.

  • WOW...teachers are the reason the country is going bankrupt. Targeting teachers puts our nation on the road to recovery? You support a party that has helped create a climate conducive to sending jobs overseas or anywhere that will set taxes at the lowest level possible diverting TRICKLE DOWN away from our middle class, leaving the rest of us with only TINKLE DOWN run off.

  • PROPAGANDA. Neoliberal nonsense. This Arkansas worker supporters the Wisconsin unions! I support the right to collectively organise. It's time to end the decline of our living standard. It's time to end the shipment of jobs overseas. God-Speed Wisconsin!

  • @PhiloAmericana What needs to happen is the private businesses and the private people paying the taxes need to organize into one huge union and tell all the bureaucrats and public unions your too damned expensive and we withhold taxes in support of your union jobs till you cut my taxes by 50% What would the unions and the legislature do with that barrel of apples. The public only exists because PEOPLE PAY TAXES AND THEY'RE SICK OF TAKING FROM THEIR FAMILIES TO GIVE A PUBLIC EMPLOYEES A RAISE.

  • @MrRiceowlex Unions are tools of communism, if you don't like the job or the pay FIND ANOTHER JOB

OF CREATE A JOB AND EMPLOYEE OTHER BUT FOR GODS SAKE BACK AWAY FROM THE COLLECTIVE TROUGH SUCKING OFF OF PRIVATE BUSINESSES AND PRIVATE FAMILIES.

  • @MrRiceowlex fuckyou

  • @MrRiceowlex

The problem for the average worker is not the public unions, it's the lack of unions in the private sphere. Unions used to be 25% of the workforce, it's now 8%. In the last thirty years unions declined, and the living standard with them. Want higher wages and a higher living standard for the average worker? Unionize, collectively bargain, and fight for your rights. The eight-hour work day, over-time pay, child labor laws, safe work conditions, etc all were due to the movements.

  • @PhiloAmericana - BWAHAHAA! Your moronic, so-called explanations are a clear indication that public schools are a collossal failure.

Child Labor Laws don't end child labor you stupid fuck. Child Labor laws invariably force children to work illegally. You're one of these indoctrinated dipshits who believe that laws written by man change the nature of reality. Not a single Child Labor Law can change WHY children may need to work. You're too fucked in the head to understand why.

  • agreed!

  • This was so good I had to watch it twice!!

  • 1. Cap the Pay from the Governor Down. $60,000

    2. Get the Governor to introduce 100 year mortgages at 2% to all Folks having conjecture to keep the property tax payments to the public support systems. Collaboration with Unions, State and local credit Unions allow this solution to save the local community support services with out fed
