This might be a stupid question but does Varlamov use overdrive blades? Idk if they are allowed in the NHL but it seemed like his main blade was off the ice and he still had a solid stance

@BauerGoalie35 its not a stupid question I thought the same way too. Overdrive blades are indeed outlawed in the NHL. The way he manages to keep such a low stance with OD blades is still today a mystery to me. There's just gotta be some technique involved.

Ottowa hasnt been a legitimate NHL power since maybe 3 or 4 years ago, or even as recently as when they had heatley. every team goes through their tough times and i guess thats what the Caps have just gone through, so im guessing that this is their redemption time. Don't get me wrong from my first comment, the Caps are a great team, just not scoring on about 50 shots on Varlamov/Neuvrinth who arent top class
