@tarzanzardoz007 Banks giving loans without 25% down, playing games with CDO's and MBS's have destroyed the world economy. Every major company has move it's manufacting to the cheapest labor source, leaving millions without jobs. Add to that the US is bankrupt wanting 25% of your income or more in taxes. We need and inport taxe of 40% and a flat national sales tax of 10% on more income tax or property taxes! Look at those homes and just think the state wanting $2,000 a year in property taxes ea.
We should through some homeless people in those houses or some homeless vets. Slap some solar panels on the house and let them fix it up. This is about the stupidest thing i have ever seen all these people going homeless and all these houses are worthless. Its not that people dont want to work of there is no love in the world for these homes its a screwed up system and people are displaced and controlled by the cops. The land should be free to all of us someone should squat at one of those homes
I went to a spooky ghost town last night with some friends...but it was a bit dangerous since there is mattresses and shotgun shells everywhere. everything is overgrown so it really looks apocalyptic
Man, a couple years ago my Dad was so close to buying a second home in Phoenix due to the low prices then of 150K for a nice home for the winters. Now its half that price. I told him prices would continue to drop. Glad he listened.
they say the West & South grew a lot in the last decade, but the mortgage crisis has hit these areas hardest, so I wonder if that growth will continue in the next decade...
@RoyElvisBand Enough already? the guy who caused this is back in Texas with his oil baron buddies living it up. He doesnt care. Obama may be not doing so well on the cleanup but he isnt the cause.
@turfturbo well Obama is the President right? Presidents claim to represent the "little guy", the "American worker" and the "folks ... I never said he is all too blame people need to stop being scared and start speaking writing the White House can't hurt voicing our op-ions is very important we need to let them know we are not as stupid as they think we are Happy New Year too you will make it we are tough
@RoyElvisBand Yeah. The US is a participatory democracy. More people need to start participating rather than sitting back and bitching at the TV. Tough times come and go and we are the stronger for them.
Why do they have to throw people into the street? if they had left them in there with a reasonable rent payment the place would have at least have some value- a few years of exposure to the elements will effectively destroy those homes. and they'll be worth nothing.
@leppy111 They are worth nothing the day they were vacated, most banks now are dozing them as soon as the paper work is done. You got to, the evicted owners trash it so bad it takes a pile of money to get it ready for tenants and then while your working on it some kid breaks a leg while spraypainting on it and sues for $250K, much cheaper to spend $5k on the backhhoe!
Man that makes me sick. People put money into that and then some asshole has to come along, destroy $20k worth of stuff just to get $20 worth of copper wire. This world is going down hill. Plus some of those houses are way better than what i am living in, and their abandone
Yeah. We are currently building, and it kills me to see all that hard work destroyed. It is alot harder to build than it looks. Plus those had some swimming pools too!
why do peaple have to do that go and smash it all up just for a cheap thrill those houses looked realy nice you get them for about 10k naw with a pool too very cheap
Looks like I'm setting a bit of a trend here, quite a few vids are being uploaded showing how bad other towns and cities are deteriorating due to the recession
The SUB PRIME LOANS which caused this crisis in the Mortgage Industry are always in the HISPANIC COMMUNITY across the country. Who is responsible for giving the SUB PRIME LOANS TO MAJORITY HISPANIC PEOPLE?Why is PRESIDENT BUSH allowing OUR TAX DOLLARS to rescue peoples' homes who have NO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!HOW can you tax or track a homeowner who has NO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR EIN NUMBER?I have a right to know.I am a US CITIZEN.I am tired of giving ILLEGAL ALIENS ANOTHER free ride!!
What the hell are you babbling about? I don't know any illegal aliens that suffered from the housing crisis. I can name thousands of U.S. citizens, however, of all religious, political, and ethnic backgrounds.
Don't post anything else on Youtube, you are an idiot and nobody listens to your spew.

Wow! Do you know what the selling bids or if any REO agency set prices on these homes??
I live in NYC and we are not hit as hard as yet.... However, this is a good time for me to move and grab up maybe 2 to 3 (homes/land)...

friggin awesome!
massive overbuilding.
The stereotypical subdivided dream is so over. cement, extra bright out door light, and chemically treated lawns and all.
The house was even gutted for copper wire.
good choice of music.
